The place is RAD. Honestly... I was having issues getting my dog to eat cuz shes damn picky. I went to the store and asked for help. I got 9 samples to take home. They told me how to run my little experiment with my dog, too. AND, she told me that if it didnt work out, just come back for more samples... All totally free. I felt so bad for getting so much free stuff that I bought a rawhide... which she explained in depth to me... And then, she realized I was getting my dog some treats, too. So she gave me treat samples as well. Even though my dog is still a picky eater (my experiment yeilded false positive results... which... honestly... I think its her bowl... or my floor... or the shape of her food... or the sound of the fan... I have no idea), they tried very hard to help me with my problem. They were very knowledgeable about literally all of the products they sell. Its just so awesome.

When I first visited, everyone was very helpful and SEEMED informative. I returned to buy my second bag of food and asked a question of a man behind the counter. I called later to ask another question and he actually yelled at me for feeding my cat a certain "un-healthy" treat. He ranted on and on about how that was causing my cats problem. The next day my cats health worsened (after following the suggestions from this man-for which I take responsibility for listening to him)... luckily my vet could get me in. Long story short, NOTHING that man said to me was verified by my vet. I feel bad for those who, like me, need help and are treated rudely and without the proper knowledge.

We love this locally-owned pet shop on Regents Blvd, in the heart of Fircrest. They sell the highest quality dog & cat foods and supplements here, with a smattering of accessories and toys. They have a punch card program and loyalty programs for certain brands of food. Our pet family eats Fromm - and they have a very nice selection of their line here. Make sure to say hi to Betty Boop the shop cat!!

Cool pet store. The owner has 4 pugs, one named Pork Chop, so thats where the name is derived. The prices are on the high side, but thats to be expected for absolute top-notch food, treats, and pet care. NOTHING is from China, which is a delightful surprise. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. This is the "go to" pet store now for my most favorite 4-legged friend!

Choppers is a pet friendly pet store filled with great products and great people! They care about my sheepdogs and every other pet their other customers own. They have a great selection of products and are very knowledgeable. And I really like that I can buy from a small business that helps the community -- and that has competitive prices! Great store!!!
