No, this isnt an up town type of store. But the bargains are great. In 2009 my Marine son married and I needed a "mothers" dress. I had looked EVERYWHERE for something in my budget and size 16. All were either too bare, too skinny or too expensive or all the above. I asked a friend who said "Did you try Ross?" and I did the V-8 smack to my forehead. I went in and found ONE dress, in the royal blue necessary for a Marine Dress Blues wedding, with a matching jacket with beading that matched earrings and evening bag I already had. And the size stated on the tag actually fit and I looked stunning in it! I went home and found it in other colors at Davids Bridal for $138 and at Macys for $158. All colors available would have looked hideous on me and clashed with the wedding, so I was feeling fortunate. I modeled it for my husband, who expected to have to cough up $200 for a suitable dress for me. I dont think Id ever seen my own Marine with his mouth open for so long when I told him I had paid $29.99 plus tax for this gorgeous dress! I think God had it set aside just for me :-) Thanks, Ross!

We have been living in Federal way for about 6 months now. About 3 months ago my husband took my two daughters shopping there. While my husband was shopping he was also being tailed closely their LP. The security would not leave him alone it was very uncomfortable, he made a complaint when he went to pay for his hat at the register. They didnt do anything but apologize. When I went back into that store a few weeks later the same security had greeted me when I walked in but turned around as soon as he recognized my husband. I will not be shopping there anymore, I drive to the next city over and purchase my items from the Ross on the East Hill in Kent, we used to go there weekly but now its about once every few months.

Ross is by no means an posh department store, but it is an excellent place to get bargains. Dont expect what you know isnt there--there are no frills, staff is usually semi-grumpy, and I wouldnt want to be in a dark alley with some of the people who shop there, but the merchandise is great and the facility is clean and the prices cant be beat. Ive gotten serious bargains on both name brand and off-brand clothes here. Being a larger size, I would pay astronomical prices to buy something like a simple dress, but here I can find ones I like for under $20. Go in without high expectations--this isnt Macys--but I would still shop here over the posh department stores any day of the week.

Ive been buying at Ross in Florida for a long time, I mean lonnnng time and I got kinda disapointed when I went to Ross in Federal Way...I know you cant expect much from these type of stores but this Ross is very messy. I dont really know if it is like that because of clients or management but anyway I used to want even buy more back in Florida cause I could find things in place. Prices are good as any other Ross store, you just dont feel like staying there for long... BUT I found TJ Maxx a great place and it is across the street.

Ive been to a ton of Ross stores and this one would make even the calmest person anxious. Im not sure if it is the customers or associates but the store was a mess. The wallet display was a pile, the clothes were jumbled up, the shoes seemed thrown on the shelves. It was like a tornado went through the store and it made me not want to shop and spend money there.

Just horrible. From the first footsteps into the the facility it was a terrible experience. I dont know what was worse... Being followed by loss prevention or Tyler, a cashier cussing in front of our six year old son during an unbelievability difficult exchange. I would not recommend anyone even think about going to this store.

Definitely the place where I go for most of my shopping as it truly does have name brand, and designer items, new, for dirt cheap. The store can be in disarray though and could use more walkthroughs to rehab clothes. Overall I would recommend to anyone as it has a wide selection, except for pajamas...

Its in the heart of Federal Watts. The selection is usually laying on the floor due to the fact that people dont know how to raise their children and are lazy as hell and cant pick up after themselves. This is not a 3rd world country you welfare bums! Good selections though.

Great prices for new clothes. But having to rummage threw all of it as if it was a thrift store and check out is like a thrift store with thrift store kind of workers, the price and time to buy and find clothes, it doesnt seem worth it.

This one is a smaller store and while they did have a little bit of everything, the Tj Max across the street had a lot more home stuff and better designer purses. They do a good selection of clothes and shoes.

This place always all clothes and shoes is the floor when I have to pay the line is long because just 1 or 2 cashier looks like not any more employees around the place.

This store is very disorganized. Clothes are thrown everywhere. Every also has clothing and items under the racks. Place is just n plain dirty...this is the worst Ross..
