Pharmacy staff spent over 40 minutes talking to a "friend" about her vacation and looking at there souvenirs while there was a long line waiting. Went to the Pharmacy to get some allergy meds that they keep behind the counter. I walked up to the pick up counter because that is where I get it from normally when I go to the store closer to home and the woman said she was busy and asked me to wait, I had no problem with that because I could see she was typing something up and on and off the phone. After about ten minutes she asked me what I needed and said that I needed to go to the other counter and so I walked over there. There was a woman on the customer side of the counter with a large bag of stuffed animals, pulling them out one by one and showing them to the pharmacy staff. They all seemed to know each other. After about another 10 minutes (no joke) waiting behind this woman talking about the stuffed animals and a vacation, I decided to go walk around the store and shop for some other items. I came back no less than 15 minutes later and there was that same woman talking about her "vacation" and her stuffed animals but now there was also a long line waiting behind her. I walked over to the other counter again and told the woman there about what was going on. She didnt say anything to the staff members that were talking to the woman or offer to help me or anyone else. Her only response was "there will be a manager in tomorrow if you want to complain".

Although we use this pharmacy because it is close to our house and therefore convenient, it is pretty poor. Regularly, we are disappointed. In all fairness, the poor customer service and long (and what seems to be unnecessary) wait times are typical of other pharmacies that we have use. That being said, however, this pharmacy has a special ability to make its customers feel bad. One particular example was when my daughter was one year old and I sat her on the counter while I waited - it had been a long day and we were all quite tired. Anyway, the pharmacy tech. or clerk (an older heavy "grandmotherly" type lady tore me a new one for this. It was like there were signs out forbidding this, that I was breaking some kind of cardinal law. I guess a simple "I know you must be tired, but Pharmacy regulations ask us that children dont sit on the counters would have worked quite well.

I went to pick up 2 of my prescriptions that took an hour to fill. When I went t pick them up they said one they didnt have enough of but they would for sure be in by 3:00pm today. When I came in today they (rudely) told me they didnt have any in stock and that I should call around other pharmacies if I wanted it today. So technically I waited around 24 hours for my prescription and they still told me they didnt have it. I think what bothers me most is one lady lied about calling me to inform me on this and the other lady apologized about not calling. Their manners were horrible I was almost in tears.

Very slow. The staff are friendly and the pharmacists are knowledgeable, but the technicians keep the pharmacy running at a snails pace. Unfortunate.
