A trusted colleague HIGHLY recommended that I get in contact with a sales rep here. Im sorry to say, however, I am extremely disappointed with my overall experience. Heres why: 1. I found a car on the Enterprise website at a location in Maryland about 15 minutes from where I live in NW DC. After making contact with the sales rep and telling him that I was going to the closer location just to SEE the car before coming to Woodbridge, he took it upon himself to have the car transferred to his location so as to ensure that I would not make the purchase at the MD location. I was livid! But, because he had come so highly recommended, I continued moving forward and arranged to make the 50 mile round trip to Woodbridge JUST to find out if I even liked the car. 2. Once I decided that I did in fact like it, I made it very clear that I wanted to keep the number of hard inquiries on my credit to only one, if possible. I monitor my score, knew that it was good and I didnt want to do anything to jeopardize it. The finance manger looked me in the eye and ASSURED me they ONLY DO ONE inquiry and shop that one credit report among the network of Enterprise lenders. I wound up with a total of 5 inquiries. 3. I had no intention of purchasing the same day I went to see the car but I made it clear that I wanted to move forward. We established that I would submit my credit app online and take care of as much preliminary "paperwork" ahead of my making another trip to Woodbridge to finalize the deal. I submitted my app the next morning but didnt get a response until late that afternoon. When my sales rep finally called, he was excited to tell me that I was approved. What he hadnt told me was that the car had been sold shortly after I left the showroom, the day before. Both he and the finance manager implied that the fault was actually mine for not buying right away. I say, there is a greater likelihood that the car would not have been sold had it NOT been transferred to Woodbridge until Id had a chance to see it and request the transfer which would have then locked it in for me. Either way, Im sure they realized that by not telling me it was sold, moving forward with the inquiry on my credit and getting me approved, I would be less inclined to go elsewhere. 4. I searched the website again and after finding a comparable car that I liked in another state, I had to pay to have it transferred to VA. Given the circumstances, I felt the dealership should have paid or at least only charged the cost of transferring it from the MD location. They did not. Again, there had already been an inquiry and I was approved. I pressed on.. 5. Despite knowing that I am a small business owner and would be using the car in the course of conducting business, the finance manager attempted to sell me a Gap Insurance product that CLEARLY states would not honor claims for vehicles used for business. When I questioned why he was trying to sell me a product that I could not use, he claimed that he had not been trained to know anything about this exemption and went on to say that he had sold the same product to business owners in the past who never had a problem with making a claim. I believe that there is an expectation that most purchasers will not take the time to read their documentation. 6. The finance manager also sold me an extended warranty. Before my 7 day buy back period was up however, I re-read my documents and discovered that there was an unchecked box that needed to be checked in order for the the warranty to cover business vehicles. Every document had to be redone and over-nighted to me to be resigned with the box checked on the extended warranty document. Again, he claimed to have not been trained to know anything about this box or any exemptions with regards to vehicles used for business purposes. Perhaps the training does not involve "understanding" them at all, but instead only how to convince people to buy them. Will I buy from Enterprise again? Doubtful. But if I do decide to do so, at least I now know what to expect.

Had my card totaled while it was parked harmlessly on the street in front of my house. Insurance paid for a rental for me. Paul and Co. were very helpful in locating a car that fit my one requirement "I need something torque-y. I dont want to have to ask permission to merge on the highway to work." Paul said he only had a Mustang. I groaned. "A V6?" I thought to my self, as Jeremy Clarksons voice yelled "POWERRRRRRR!" and I yearned for a Mopar or Chevy V8. "Fine ... Ill take a look at it." I said and I settled. What Paul brought me out too was the exact OPPOSITE of me. My old car was a black Crown Victoria police car. The definition of inconspicuous. This was not that. It was a bright race red, coupe and on top of it all it was a convertible. "Im going to get arrested in this" I thought to me self. But I sign on the paper work and climbed in. Some adjusting of the seat and mirrors and I was off. TWO WEEKS go by. After talking to numerous dealerships and test driving various cars Im STILL without a vehicular partner in crime. As I am driving back to Enterprise to extend my rental it occurs to me that I really like the car. The DOHC 32v V6 puts out 300hp and 285ft/lbs of torque, more then enough to move the 3400 (+/- )lb car where ever I wanted it to go. The remote start was a nice touch and while the stereo could be louder when hooked up via USB, connecting via bluetooth makes it loud enough :) I entered my rental office and approached Paul and his compatriots and asked if I could just buy that one. I wasnt having ANY luck getting the car or the deals I wanted from the "dealerships" and had really fallen for the Mustang. They were extremely helpful and put me in contact with Tony at Enterprise Car Sales. Within 5 days I had the Mustang all to myself, and freshly detailed. Was the easiest car buying experience and the car is beautiful. :) Thanks to Paul and his crew for the rental and to Tony for helping me get the car!! :) Go here, and ASK FOR TONY! Hes the best!

The price was right for the car I wanted. My concern was that the office was so new the sales people were reluctant to take care of the customer. I put 8K down and it took much effort to reduce the interest rate. The car was dirty, smelled - deep down to the filters; smoke and funk smell. Labels that were used for stocking were left on the car The sales person was lazy and arrogant, taking off for a training class after initiating the sale, not letting me know he would not be available and assigning another person to complete the sale. Then after his training he call wondering if I had ducked out of the deal. The salesman made a strange statement about "Fraud was illegal" leaving me with the impression he was stupid, my credit was perfect and I put 8k down. What did it take to do business with the appropriate respect. After I reminded the staff that one of the staff told me I could get a lower interest with a larger down payment the disconnect and lies were LOL, everyone began to lie, -very unprofessional. The only reason I stayed on the deal is that the car was cheap. The service was lousy. The online advertisement mentioned easy transfer of any car from any group. They resist going to another group to request a transfer of a car. Transfer does not work and the Enterprise office I used had too many models of company. It was like going to a bad mom and pop used car center.
