I have brunch with my family members in Cracker and Barrel back in late November. The setting and display inside and outside of the restaurant are unique that as if would bring one back to old days of first 13 American states. The pancakes are freshly made. what I like the most is the excellent service that C&B provided especially on the merchandise which I bought from the store and shipping to my home back in San Jose, California. The rooster figurine that I have bought from the store get crushed & damaged during UPS shipping. When I called in to sort out the issue, a merchandise store manager, Terresa, re-ship another one while shes still not sure that they would receive credit from UPS or not. Anyway the rooster figurine finally arrive in good shape with extra layers of boxes and styrofoam for extra precaution protection. Thanks Terresa for the excellent service that she provided!

Quite possibly the absolute worst breakfast I had ever! Scrambled eggs were like the scrapings from the bottom of the pan, the sausage was like a hockey puck and I asked the waitress from sourdough bread since I am not a fan of biscuits & gravy! I kind of made a point to tell the Waitress I hated it and guess what she served me biscuits & gravy! I asked for a replacement but she didnt give me any. Food was lukewarm & the coffee was terrible. Only thing that was OK was the grits! They used he good many years ago. I am never going to go to any Cracker Barrels anywhere, Ive had too many bad experiences at this restaurant chain lately no matter where I went.

Never had bad service or food at a Cracker Barrel before, but I guess theres a first time for everything. Attitude from the wait staff, one of them snatched a plate out of my hands while I was doing something with it. Our waiter didnt know the menu. Food was... bleh... Some of it tasted microwaved or from frozen, and a lot of it was greasy and salty. Very strange. When asked how was our meal we both said we were disappointed and the man looked at us like we were stupid and asked if we wanted to see the manager. It wasnt that big of a deal, we were just answering him. Whatever

Itll remind you of what momma used to make, if your momma used canned/frozen vegetables. Actually, for a highway restaurant these places are pretty good. The country store will give you something to do while your waiting for a table or a chance to walk of your dinner a little afterwards. The store has a wide selection of nostalgic candies and snacks and lots of useless impulse buy items that you will love. food is southern/country comfort fare that tastes OK and is served in generous portions at reasonable prices. Great for families on a road trip.

Cracker Barrels can be a bit hit or miss, so I want to post a rare review from us. This location was outstanding in every way. Our waitress was great and went the extra mile. The restrooms were clean and stocked. We were seated quickly and our waitress was at the table right away. The food came out fast and was delicious. My wife loved the Peppermill steak and egg skillet. Everything exceeded our expectations for a Cracker Barrel. Weve eaten at quite a few, and this one was by far the best.

Slow service. Table behind us received their food 15 minutes before we did... and we ordered first! Second horrible service. Never got whole order correct. When server finally came back she asked if we wanted desert. We ordered.....Never came back with desert or check! After 20 minutes went up front to pay ourselves...Put me in a crappy mood, no excuse for terrible service! Yes you suck Cracker Barrel!

Love the food and the ambiance. Kind of pricey, but its quality food in large quantities. Plan on taking home your left overs. I love to buy candy from my youth that is hard to find, in their country store. The country store is a blast to look around, but is very expensive. They have a great audio book library that you can borrow and return at other Cracker Barrels as you travel.

Always had good food and service at Cracker Barrel and the Winchester location is no exception. Great breakfast, very good trout. Biscuits are sometimes disappointing, and rarely a inattentive wait staff, but everything else is excellent. Never a long wait to be served, main dish is always good. This is one of 7 Cracker Barrels Ive been to and they are pretty good.

Rude and unorganized. Waitress only came by twice and never offered more drink except when she took our order. never brought the biscuits ordered. Food was ice cold when we got it. I would NEVER recommend this place. Also, wrote tip and total on the receipt and the girl entered her own amount without reading my total and had to refund me.

Food and service were great . The restaurant was very orderly and decritive . But the store part is so bunched together that when theres quite a few patrons you can barely move threw the store. I would have loved to seen more of the store but because of the lack of room and croud I had to leave other wise would have been 5 stars.

Was here this morning to eat breakfast. I was alone Hostess said.. it would be one minute. So I wait. A couple walks in she seats them. Ok. A party of 4 comes in. She seats them. Ok. Another party of 4 comes in. She sests them. I guess party of one wasnt good enough. So I left. Wont go back. Ihop takes party of one!

While I love Cracker Barrels food, the service at this Cracker Barrel has become horrible and management doesnt seem to care at all. The one in Front Royal is almost as bad. Such a shame because CB food is great, love the chicken n dumplins, hashbrown casserole, and biscuits with apple butter.

Was here in VA for a week of business. Loved it! My waitress Lauren was outstanding, accomadating, and there was a manager present on the floor who even came over to make sure everything was good. Great! I til him, and my waitress exceptional, and so was the food! Even got a salad to go!

The waiter was wonderful. Food not so good. Who wants to eat their food after the rest has finished? Every time I come here they burn my food. Tell them want things plain. Comes out with mayo. Do they not understand that some people have allergies to food.

Who, besides my friend Dan, doesnt like Cracker Barrel? This Cracker Barrel is great. Everyone gets to eat something they love. The service is great and you can spend way too much time in the store. Well, theyre in the store while Im rocking on the porch.

Great service and excellent food. This Cracker Barrel actually served bacon and eggs that were cooked to order as opposed to made ahead of time. The bacon was the perfect balance of crispy and limp and the eggs were light and fluffy.

Noisy, really noisy. You can barely here yourself think. Conversation is a struggle. The food is mediocre at best. If youre looking for a quiet, relaxing meal with interesting conversation and good food its not to be found here.

Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped up place our order in the most cost-effective way. She was training another server and did a great job. Plus, cracker barrel Pancakes make everything better lol.
