Horrible! Our family had enjoyed a Cracker Barrel in NC so we though we would try this one. The food was horrendous. The service was fine up until we put in our order, then the waitress disappeared and did not ask us how the food was. She probably receives a lot of complaints about the food and is tierd of hearing it. My half-pound bacon burger, asked for medium rare, said they could only do medium, got it well done bordering on hockey puck. The steak fries were cold, and the coloring was a dark brown so you could tell they have not changed the fryer oil in too long. My wifes country chicken was very small, over cooked, and just lacking flavor. My daughters enjoyed their eggs and sausage, but the mashed potato side one of them ordered was so full of pepper, they could not stand it. I would highly recommend anyone considering this Cracker Barrel to go to Italian Touch on the other side of I-81 instead.

Waited over 45 mins for our food. Was ALL COLD. They was not busy as there was several open tables in the restaurant. Staff standing around talking while customers sat waiting for drinks orders to be taken food to be delivered. As soon as we got our COLD FOOD the manager walks up and states he can see the food is cold and offered to remake we declined as we had our 4 children with us and we are traveling apparently he just got there . He Went back to kitchen and began runing servers food out to tables and trying to satisfy all customers nice job (John) . So the manager before him needs to be assessed.... again we do not know John as we are not local to the area . But we do believe he needs to deserve credit where credit is due !

ONLY PUTTING 5 STARS SO THIS WILL HOPEFULLY BE SEEN. I wouldnt even give them one full star. I got an order to go from the Cracker Barrel 5 minutes from my house. I am there after the 20 minutes theu said it would take for my food to be ready and then have to stand there for 15 extra minutes waitong. They were not even busy. I get home and all of our food was COLD. My boyfriend asked for a burger that was supposed to have 2 patties on it, only had one. Told them no mayo, a crap ton of mayo was on it and he said it was the worst burger he has ever had. Not sure if I wanna be that guy and call and complain to the manager but I have not had a bad experience from a restaurant in a long time and this was by far THE WORST

Decided to try Cracker Barrel for the first time and it wasnt good... Right when we sat down our waiter came and asked if we were ready, he just saw us sit down! Everything felt rushed like he wanted us out of there. I got a Ribeye and my girlfriend got a country fried steak. We both got salads as well, the salad came out and not 1 minute later we got our meals. I didnt even start on my salad. Then he comes by 5 minutes later and gives us our check, I didnt even touch my steak! He knew this and didnt do anything or apologize. Food was also mediocre, sauces/butter/sour cream was all prepackaged which I did not like. Overall not a good experience, dont think Im going to another Cracker Barrel.

After having a great experience in a North Carolina Cracker Barrel, we decided to stop at the Woodstock Cracker Barrel in Virgina. We opted for take out. The service was slow but very polite in a practiced and staged way, the bathrooms were dirty, and the food was stale. To make it worse the waitress did not take an unavailable item off our bill. We alerted the cashier to the matter and he said no problem. When we reached home we realized that we were still charged for the item we never received. We called the store and requested to speak to a manager and we were promised that the problem would be resolved. That was over a month ago.

I dont know if its a management problem or what but I had the worst meal at this restaurant that Ive ever had at a cracker barrel. I was very disappointed. I had a pork chop, hash brown casserole, and macaroni and cheese with corn muffins. The presentation was awful. No attempt was made to make the food attractive or appetizing. My hashbrown casserole was old, cold, and very dry. I dont know when it was made... Lunch perhaps? The pork chop was dry and cold and had no flavor. The macaroni and cheese was good. The corn muffins came midway through and were woefully under done. Very disappointing meal.

Waited at least 15 mins to be seated. At least 7 people asked us if we had been helped yet not one of them sat us. When server finally came to table she was very nice. However my food came out cold. I managed to drink my entire drink and all sides waiting for server to follow up. 2 bites to minutes......not here. I had to have another server go find her. My entree was recooked and it was no better. Again another server refilled our drinks otherwise I may have died of thirst. Manager did table touch and apologize but the damage was done. Will not return. I

I always meet my niece and sister at this Cracker Barrel because its the halfway point for traveling to visit and we all love this Cracker Barrel because everyone is very attentive, check on us ,ask if we need anything before leaving our table. Jenna was super,extra excellent, fantastic server with service beyond my expectations. Id been in the hospital and this was my first outing and she made my experience very personal and saw to it that I received the correct order. Thanks Jenna! You Rock! Lovella Beaver, Afton, VA

We stopped here on our way to PA. Arriving in the morning, I opted for the chicken fried chicken breakfast. When I cut into the chicken it squirted water! Our waitress was very polite and took my plate back and had them make a whole new plate. My second piece of chicken also squirted water. The manager came by and was insisting it was grease from the fryer. It was water, not grease. In the end, they took the meal off our bill, but the manager wasnt very helpful and kind of pushy.

Just passing through, and was a little shaken about going in a strange town. A few of the customers spoke and was very polite. The meal was prepared well, the country ham with the bone is too salty but good. This is the first time cracker barrel has prepared my eggs the way I ordered and like. Thanks to our waiter.

Staff is courteous and welcoming. Our food was good and we had a pleasant overnight stay in our RV at this location. 3 spaces for buses/RVs, on a very slight slope angle but nothing to worry about. Well lit and quiet on a Saturday night.

Was there for 20 minutes, watching the waitress go to every table around us asking if they needed anything else without being greeted at all. Would not recommend whatsoever, especially to other pregnant women like myself!
