Service poor. They could not seem to understand how to scramble eggs and when I asked for them to be re-made with cheese in it the eggs they brought out were the same eggs I had before except that they threw some cheese on it and melted it and chopped it up further. I had also asked for crispy bacon and the waitress set my bacon down which was still with alot of fat on it and then asked if they were crispy enough. When I asked for them to be re-done they were brought out looking petrified which means someone shoved them in the microwave to cook them further. Lastly the waitress tried to correct the situation with taking off the eggs (despite me complaining about the eggs and bacon) and brought back a bill that was more expensive. It took her 3 times to adjust the bill to something satisfactory. All this time there was no manager that once showed up to help resolve the issue. This is the second time I have had a poor experience here. The other time was a few mos ago when I tried to call in a take out orders and they got it all wrong and the girl taking the order on the phone had an attitude. When I discovered the order was wrong I tried to tell the manager and he acted like he didnt know what to do to make it better. I had to ask for a discount which is something I would assume he would have offered immediately without my prompting him to. Dont the think I will ever come to this location again.

I went to Cracker Barrel today and instead of feeling relaxed and welcome I felt rushed and kept having to ask the waitress for something. They no longer bring biscuits and cornbread to your table with your drink order. You have to ask for that. Otherwise all your food arrives at once and of course you end up ignoring the bread so you can eat your lunch while it is still hot. I guess that is supposed to encourage you to eat the main course, which isnt free like the bread. Then we had to ask for extra napkins. Apparently they dont come with the meal any more. All you get is a tiny one which your utensils are wrapped in. I like to use that one to lay my fork on because the tables probably have germs on them. Because I ordered hot chocolate I didnt get any water so I had to ask for that. The corn bread arrived after wed finished eating. Then we had to ask for a to-go box for it since no one wanted any at that point. I looked forward to the fire, but it had died down to a few coals so that was also disappointing. Its the little things that make you feel welcome, but they were missing today.

Absolutely horrible service!! I had a bad experience in the past at this location as we waited several minutes for a waiter, over 20 mins for our food, and when we got our food it was cold. Tonight I went again trying to give them another chance. It was against my better judgement! My daughter and I were seated quickly but waited 10 minutes no waitress...several walked by though. I had to get up to get a waitress who was nice enough to be our waitress although we were not in her section. When my food came out it looked like it had been thrown onto the plate. I asked the waitress for extra napkins and she brought me apple butter. Then later I had to ask her twice for a box for my bread. Then the manager was walking around checking on everyone, but never stopped at my table. She wouldve gotten an earful if she did. Never again will I go to this location, the one off Airport Blvd does it right and I will stick to going to that location.

This was the worst Cracker Barrel i have visited. We eat at our local restaurant weekly. This is the first time Ive been told theyre out of something. Also we were served white water rather than dumplings and grits that werent cooked. Me eggs were also runny which ruined everything else on the plate. We also waited 20 minutes for a check, which only came after we demanded it. The waiter asked us if we had seen anybody take money off of the neighboring table. He also took the hot sauce to give to another table. At the checkout a guy in a tie made inappropriate conversation with staff members rather than acknowledge me. The store was unorganized with lots of empty shelves and items out of stock. As a long time loyal customer I was shocked. This is a great company which is usually consistent.

Though I know that some of the food is pre-prepared, frozen, etc. I do like the taste of many of their entrées. It feels like Southern comfort with a bit of a microwave impact… I really like the store section. A lot of old time goodies can be found there... unfortunately, they are slow as molasses… Took me an hour to get my to go order. I tried to call ahead utilizing the number on the website and it kept ringing ringing ringing and then without like it was a fax machine… I called back at one time and the person hung up on me. It was only 8 PM they still had two hours to go. I heard the one in Morrisville was better. Ill try that one instead from now on

Burlington in my eyes is the mega place for shopping. On September 3rd I stopped in and had the Cracker Barrel Sampler Dinner plate, which included two corn breads with butter. Slice of their famous meatloaf, serving of chicken & dumplings, slice of sugar ham with a side of steamed broccoli and stewed apples. To drink, best drink in the whole wide world, glass of water and a slice of lemon. both waitresses were very friendly, one was in training. The entire experience was delicious and entertaining with all the products that they over in their restaurant. I will go back again!

Was greeted upon arrival by hostess, went straight to table, restaurant not extremely busy sit at the table for 20 minutes without even a hello from a waitress although there were plenty of staff working. At this point my party decided to exit but not without speaking to a manager. He apologized and offered to get our food expedited but we choice to drive 15 miles down the road to another Cracker Barrel where we were in and out in 45 minutes and the service was excellent. Now they got a superior review. Hope this helps to insure better customer service in the future.

Took a waitress more than 10min to come to our table and the couple 2 tables after us were already being served their drinks. I went to get the manager to come to our table, she says give me 2 min. so I go sit down. Then here comes the waitress, I said dont worry about it, weve got the manager coming. 2min. go by, no manager. We get up to leave, and I ask her if she forgot about me. She says she saw the waitress greet us and figured we were good. I said I asked YOU to come to the table. NEVER go when theyre busy. They cant handle the load.
