My husband and I got married at Kingsmill Resort in Willimasburg, VA on June 11, 2016. Kingsmill had recommended Williamsburg Floral & Gifts to us. We had heard of WF&G from friends and family so immediately decided to choose them as our florist. MAN, DID WE CHOOSE RIGHT! Williamsburg Floral & Gifts is AMAZING! Not only did the owner, Elgin (and his staff) create breath-taking flower arrangements, but Elgin also hand delivered the flowers to us the day of the wedding and was outside in the heat setting up the floral arch he made, putting up the wedding aisle decor, and centerpieces. That was so thoughtful, we werent expecting to see him the day of. Even my bridesmaids and mother in-law said "WOW! Ive never seen a florist actually come in, show you his work and hand deliver you the flowers!" It was a really nice touch. After the initial meeting with Elgin, at which we showed him pictures of what we liked and showed him our color scheme, my husband and I decided we wanted to add a GoPro onto the floral arch since we didnt hire a Videographer (this decision took place a month before the wedding). We simply called Williamsburg Floral & Gifts, explained to them we wanted the GoPro attached to the arch and told them we would be in town that weekend to drop off the GoPro. Of course doing something like that makes any bride feel un-easy, thoughts like "what if the lose the GoPro? or put it on the wrong arch? or drain the battery before the ceremony?" all run through your head. Turns out we had NOTHING to worry about. WF&G charged the GoPro, they attached it perfectly onto our arch and clearly tested out the location because you can see and hear everything from the ceremony in our wedding video. Also, I didnt see my bouquets, boutonnieres, center pieces, aisle decor, or wedding arch until 3 hours before our wedding ceremony. (We dont currently live in Williamsburg and our weekends were filled with other responsibilities so it was hard to go check on our arrangements in person). Which for me, was very hard to do, I remember telling my friends I wont see the flowers until the wedding day and they looked at me as if I was insane. Im so happy I didnt see the flowers beforehand - it was an AWESOME surprise on the wedding day. Overall, our experience with Williamsburg Floral & Gifts was PERFECT. Every little detail. Our friends and family kept saying over and over they were "drooling over the flowers"! Elgin and his staff treat each customer like family, they are professional, and very talented - they were able to turn my words, pictures, and thoughts/ideas into a reality, which is an amazing skill to have. I would definitely use them every time for any occasion in the future.

On Wednesday May 18, I ordered an arrangement for a client for her birthday...a very special occasion. The instructions were simple, colorful and large. The price quoted was 55.00 plus tax and an 11.00 delivery charge! Perfect...BUT not so perfect when they arrived. My client sent a picture of them to thank me, I was so embarrassed it looked like wild flowers from a field. I called florist and sent them a picture, told them I was not happy or satisfied with the clear glass vase and flowers that looked like I bought them in a grocery store They agreed and said they would resend a larger nicer arrangement. INSTEAD, they called client and said they would send bigger flowers but it would be a smaller arrangement (WHAT) AND they would need to pick up the previous one...very tacky. UNBELIEVABLE THAT THEY WOULD NOT CONTACT ME BUT CONTACT THE RECIPIENT. WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THEM.

My daughter recently was married at the Williamsburg Inn. We are from Indiana and really had little to go on in the florist department. Williamsburg Floral / Elgin Morris were on the recommendations from the Inn. Knowing the stellar reputation of the Inn, I knew this must be a good business. After meeting with another florist as well, Elgin and his team were hired. My daughter had a very specific visionof what she wanted. I found Williamsburg Floral to be responsive. when we set the budget and expressed our desire to keep in the parameters there was no problem. The flowers were all perfection. We did ask that the large floral displays be repurposed for the brunch the following morning. They still looked lush and full. Beautiful peonies, hydrangeas, runuculus and other gorgeous flowers turned the setting into a luminous event. So happy we went with this choice.

Unique and incredibly artistic work by an attentive, professional, and reliable staff, I was lucky to find them. I can see why they have been voted "Best Florist in Williamsburg" multiple times, they are absolutely the best in the whole area. Very experienced floral shop, with amazing references and photos from all sizes/types of events! When I was shopping for wedding arrangements and bouquets I was so impressed with their creativity, and ability to translate exactly what I wanted into a gorgeous reality, even better than I had envisioned. Best decision I ever made. The shop is beautifully done, too, with lots of extras for the home, hard to resist.

Ordered last minute flowers to be delivered to hotel for my wife. Wish I could add a photo to this review. They look as if the person spent 5 minutes or less putting them together. What a complete waste of $65 dollars. These people where just pushing flowers out on Valentines day. Clearly they forgot about how important this was to some people. Here is how I would sum it up... If you want your arrangement to looks like someone actually gave a rats ass, DON"T USE THESE PEOPLE! If you just want flowers thrown in a vase with water, they are okay. (But then again you could stop by the grocery store and do that yourself)

For out of towners wanting to send an elegant and nicely priced arrangement of flowers to your parents/hosts/someone special in Williamsburg- this is the place. The Florist really listened to me when I called the day of and wanted to send my Dad - who loves flowers - a beautiful, grand, bold and happy arrangement - just like his character! I was so impressed when my Mom sent me a picture of him admiring the flowers! Williamsburg Floral could not have done a better job and were incredibly efficient and priced fairly. I will always use them going forward when celebrating my parents in Williamsburg!

I was warmly greeted by the manager, Wendy Hall. She was so knowledgeable and knew exactly which flowers where perfect for my grandmothers corsage. It was made so quick considering that we just walked in. The store felt like a beautiful, enchanted fairy garden. And the corsage was one of the most beautiful arrangements of flowers I had ever seen, my grandmother was SO happy when I gave it to her. I couldnt thank Wendy enough! I will definitely be back and will try to recommend Williamsburg Floral to as many people as I can!

We hired Williamsburg Floral and Gifts to do our wedding decor and it was BEAUTIFUL! We got so many compliments on the flower arrangements. Elgin transformed the room to give a rustic barn a romantic, candlelit, intimate feel. We had arrangements that varied in size to give the room dimension, and had hanging orchids draping from the chandeliers. It was absolutely breathtaking!

They are amazing, they have done flower arrangements for every occasion for my family for 30 years. I now live in CA and every time I order flowers no matter where I go through Elgin so that he can tell them what to put in for me. They Re the best.
