A nice office that has some stylish frames. The doctor was very nice and professional throughout my visit. She asked questions and seemed genuine. I have only 2 minor concerns with my experience: 1. When I ordered my glasses they signed me up for the most expensive package without any consultation or even asking what I wanted. They tried to sell me the most expensive anti-glare, lens material, and something else I cant quite remember. AFTER insurance covered $300 + 20%, my total was over $500! Luckily, my wife had just recently ordered glasses here and I knew a ballpark range for what the cost should be for a similar pair of glasses. I had the receptionist go line by line over the bill. For about 3 "features" this is how the conversation went: Receptionist: This is the best quality lens ME: Did my old pair use that quality, or a lower quality? Receptionist: it was medium quality, which would be "X" amount cheaper ME: Cool, remove the best quality and give me medium quality. I obviously was fine with it for the last 5 years. Repeat that conversation 3 times, and I saved a couple hundred dollars. The lady was very nice about it though! She did not seemed off-put or mad by me making her explain the charges to me. It was handled very professionally. I wont deduct more than one star for this as it is a business and I expect them to try to up-sell you. I just wished they would have asked first before trying to ring up the bill. I told my wife this when I came home and she said they tried to do the same thing to her! Just know this when you go in. 2. They seemed to have computer/IT issues a lot. When I first called to set up an appointment she said she would have to call me back because their computer was down to access the schedule. No worries, she called back in about an hour. I was able able to get an appointment very quickly, so thats a positive! Then at the appointment, after I picked out my new frames, she went to ring me up and enter my info but the computer was down for this. We waited for about 10 minutes before she told me just to leave and we could finish up over the phone later. Not a huge deal. I understand the problem will arise from time to time, but something they definitely should look into fixing for the sake of the "more disgruntled" customers that may come in. At the end of the day, I liked the doctor, I was seen for an appointment quickly, and I got the glasses I wanted at a price I deemed acceptable. I would definitely recommend this place. But remember to ask for the breakdown of your bill before you pay.

They have a nice selection of stylish frames, but the customer service leaves much to be desired. My husband was sent a coupon for a scratch proof coating, even though Im the one who has previously bought there. I asked if this coupon would be honored for both me and my husband since I knew that we would be both spending a lot of money on specific prescrptions. I was told yes, but at the end of the sales process, they reneged, and I ended up having to negotiate for half the value of the coupon on the second pair of glasses. Then I was told that my pair would take 3 weeks. I heard nothing at the 3-week mark, went into the store to inquire and Lynne said that she would check and call me with an update, but that it looked like my order had been sent back for some reason. That would have been nice to know to expect a delay. The promised call never came, and Im still waiting. Now when I called the store to follow up again, I got a busy signal on the phone - no voice mail even? So, Im plenty frustrated. I had an event that I was hoping to wear my new stylish glasses to, and thats not gonig to happen. I will not buy there again.

Today was my first time at The Eyewear Gallery but it certainly did not feel like it. Dr. Gammon, Cindy & Rachel all go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. As a new patient I would have never dreamed that I could call and within 3 hours have seen the doctor! I was having a problem with my eye so I called thinking I would get an appointment maybe by the end of the week but to my surprise they took me at 3pm. When I arrived I was greeted warmly and did not have to wait long until I was in with the doctor. Dr. Gammon is very thorough and informative and genuinely concerned about your eye health. I really appreciated that they took extra time to help me with the prescription I was given that my health plan would not cover. I am looking forward to a long relationship with the business. Thanks again Dr. Gammon and staff.

My great customer service experience with The Eyewear Gallery at Reston Town Center started right after I called them to make an appointment for my girlfriend to have an eye exam. The guy who answered the phone, Jay, was super friendly and helpful! When we got to the place, we were taken care of maybe 10 to 15 minutes after our appointment time, but waiting was a pleasant experience. Also, Marina helped my boyfriend choose a pair of glasses. She was super patient and knowledgeable. This is the perfect place to go close to home and if you are not that close, it might just be worth the drive. I dont need glasses, but if I ever do, this is where I will be going too.

I had a great exam the other week with Dr. . He was excellent, thorough, and pleasant. He is probably the best eye doctor I have ever visited when it comes to explaining things. The two gentlemen working in the shop were also very nice, helpful, and inviting. I think Ive found me new optometrist.

I took my father-in-law there to have his eyes looked at and to get new glasses. I have to say, not only did they take care of him, they went out of their way to make sure he got glasses that he liked and could still afford. They are very friendly, I would recommend them to anyone.

Staff is uber friendly and knowledgeable. Their on-site doctor is easy to talk to and work with. Great selection of frames and their prices are competitive. They accept most vision and health plans.And they remember who you are, cause they care!

I love Dr. Gammon and her office staff! Dr. Gammon is so personable and friendly, and explains everything she is doing so that I know whats going on. Her staff is friendly and helpful, and they make picking out new glasses so much fun!
