Sent an ordinary book to CA near Christmas but wasnt concerned about arrival time just the best price between US postal or UPS shipping. After an odd and hostile interchange from the attendant about the lowest price and arrival date, and the fact that the person the book was from was not me but the person named on the return address label, she gives me a price of $23 for postal. Holy smokes; not $10, which would have been respectable. What was the cost for shipping UPS? She couldnt tell me. The snide "Merry Christmas" from the attendant as I left clinched it for me; I will not return. I was wrong; weeks later, I did return. You wont believe what ended up in my mailbox; yes, the book; $23 to send it 1.5 miles down the road and take more than a week. I took the package into the UPS Sore and the manager, Paul, insisted that it was not their fault that the book didnt reach Idaho, and thus, no refund. I called the corporate office for the UPS Store, which is not the same business as UPS. They gave me the run-around,and when I asked to speak to the guys supervisor, click, and that was that. Disapproved charge on credit card, and sent book via USPS, and saved $10.

I have used the UPS Stores at Short Pump for many years. They have provided everything from packaging and shipping packages, printing documents and buying some of the best greeting cards in Richmond. They send me an email confirming my shipment and when it is delivered. Total peace of mind. They are also a quick and convenient source for Notary Services. I can download a printing job to them and they print it and have it packaged for me to pick up. If I am not certain how I want my print job to look, they will assist in creating the final product. They even print mailing labels for me to send flyers to prospective customers using the US Postal Address system. I can tell them the exact areas and streets I want to mail to, and they will zone in on the specific zip codes I want to reach. Target, print and mail, all in one easy affordable step. When I am out of town, I often request that a package be sent to their store so it is not left on my doorstep; and then drop by and pick it up on my return. I also enjoy the staff, who are always professional and helpful. They recommend ways to save money and get the job done right.

I had a very important package that I needed to send today to a child in need. A businessman donated his UPS number for charges so that I could get these needed items to this child ASAP. When I went to the UPS store the store employee said that they dont take account numbers and that he couldnt send it. I understand that they dont make any money on me using a UPS account number, but guess what now you have lost a customer who would be paying for other services and I will tell all of my friends not to use your service. This is just poor customer service. This business is only out to make a buck off of you. They dont care about their customers, just money!! Do not use them. Not to mention this child in need will now suffer. A successful business is not about making a buck. It is about good customer service.

The worst experience of my life. I think the tall big guy must be sacked. He was consistently rude to customers (are you kidding this is the service industry my friend) and we were victims too. Customer wants to ship a guitar and has only a rough idea and this guy makes his life miserable. I am trying to get things notarized and he is telling us that I already signed the copy so I have to come back with a fresh copy. It seemed like he did not want to work forget "serving". If you are in the shop when this guy is around - pray to your Gods.

Very unpleasant and disrespectful service. The old lady at Short Pump was not friendly at all. She concerned too much about the next customer behind me. It took only 5-10 minutes to finish all the processes with me, but she rushed and showed an impatient attitude. There was another young lady staff with another customer who came earlier than me(total 3 customers in store). As you know, showing a better attitude makes better service.

I dont normally go to this UPS Store location but because I was at AC Moore, I decided to give this location another try. It wasnt busy as it normally is after 2PM. The young lady, Carolyn, working was friendly and very nice. Normally, this location is very busy all times of the day and other workers wont allow you to leave packages that you already have labeled.

Came at 1:45 to drop off a package on Sunday (today)--hours posted online and at the store window state this location is open on Sundays from 1-5pm. Well, 45 minutes into their business day--Door was locked, lights were off, and gate was down inside--no one was there. No signage posted on the door or elsewhere indicated the reason for this. Very disappointed.

Worst customer service around. Todays example: went to ship a package, decided the postage was more than I wanted to spend. As I was walking out the door I heard the employee commenting to the next customer about how I wouldnt spend the money. I will only use them when the package is prepaid, so I dont have to witness any of their bad moods anymore

I love the UPS store. I go in often to get items printed for work. They are always so helpful and accommodating. They also pay attention to the little details to make sure that everything is exactly how I want it. I will be back UPS store!
