This was by far the most pleasant car buying experience weve had! We researched prices and vehicles in the Hampton Roads area and ended up at Auto Source because they had the car we wanted for the best price. Ill admit my expectations werent high based on some of the previous reviews, and a response from the business that is riddled with poor grammar (which I later found out is because the owner is from Greece and English is not his first language) but I was willing to give it a shot to get a good deal, and Im very happy I did. We worked with Steve. He was polite, not at all pushy, and so sweet to our rambunctious 5 year-old. He let us take the car out by ourselves, and suggested a route that would offer a variable terrain, including a spot to take it off the road. Agreeing on a price took very little time, and we were signing papers and leaving keys in hand about 2 hours after walking in. A record for sure! The other men working at the dealership were also incredibly nice. All very straight forward and never once did we get that icky smooth-talking used car salesman vibe. It feels like a close-knit family run business and I was very happy to be giving them our money instead of one of the larger dealerships. (we had the most ridiculous car-shopping experience at Hall Honda Ive ever had in my life, but thats for another review) When we brought the car in a few days later for some agreed upon repairs we were very happy to find that they not only addressed the issues we had discussed, but fixed one we had not at no cost to us! None of that was in our contract, but they more than kept their word and told us to return if any other issues arise. Now I have to tell you about the real star of the dealership, and for sure the guy who deserves the 5 star-reveiw! Mojo the peanut fetching puppy! Not only is he adorable, but if youve ever been to a dealership with a child before, you know what special brand of torture that is! Not here! What better combo is there than a well behaved puppy and a not so well behaved kid? Mojo kept us all entertained, but most especially my son. I hope he gets a portion of the commission in treats. :)

Do not buy from them. I bought a vehicle back in April of this year. First issue car was jerking through gears.. was still under warranty. They did a transmission flush which didnt fix problem. They still wont fix issue even though it was still under warranty when I presented problem. Second they sold me a car without fresh inspection, which now I know is against the law. Went to go get free inspection they offer if you buy a vehicle from them and my tire went up in smoke and caliber locked up when I left. They wouldnt do anything for me even though I had no issues before they messed with it. THIRD ISSUE WAS WORSE THEN THE FIRST TWO. They tried to say my car was up for repo. I informed them I had made all my payments and paid early at that. They fought with me even though I had bank statements proving them wrong. Finally contacted me back and said they had found my receipts and they had been "misplaced" put into someone elses file. This almost got my car repo and all I got was a sorry. Very quick to sell you a car, but not friendly when they make mistake and cause embrasment to you.

ARROGANT, ARROGANT, ARROGANT!!! Family owned business that takes much pride in the amount of cars they sell every month; too bad they dont take the same pride in taking care of their customers. My father purchased a $24,000.00 truck (he is seventy-five years old), and didnt notice until he was home that there was NO owners manual, or floor mats for the vehicle. When we returned to inquire, we were told "hey man, your father got one hell of a deal on that truck". My goodness, why some businesses dont understand the impact of these kind of experiences...I will never understand. Now, my sister - as well as myself have made a decision to purchase our vehicles elsewhere. Just one week after my father purchased the vehicle he had to make a special trip back to the dealership to learn of an indicator light on the dash. Still no manual...however, he did get some nice floor mats from Costco (FYI: $19.00) RECAP: DONT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY - ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS ACHIEVING SALES

BEWARE!!! DO NOT PURCHASE They have had my Volvo S80 2005 since May 14th 2014 and have failed to deliver on every promised date or follow through. I purchased my Vehicle in the middle of February and it at the time needed minor repairs to be completed at a later date. After several attempts to have my vehicle repaired/serviced I was repeatedly told they were to busy to fix my vehicle. I finally simply dropped it off in order to secure a Monday May 19th 2014 AM appointment. They have consistently blamed there mechanic or Wynn Volvo for the delay in fixing my vehicle. The Manager Bobby was hostile and dared me to complain and if so I could just come pick up my vehicle un-repaired. I spoke with Wynn Volvo Parts Department personally on 22 May and at 230PM and was advised Bobby from Auto Source did NOT order my part until WED 21 MAY in the afternoon. BEWARE of this business. See Facebook or Daily Press for more issues like mine.

I would like to share my positive experience purchasing a my 2012 Chevrolet Silverado from Auto Source of Gloucester. Our salesperson Mark was very patient during this process and gave us many different options. The entire staff was very polite. Ray (Sales and Finance Manager) obtained an excellent finance rate for our purchase. Mojo (a young Chesapeake Bay Retriever) was also very entertaining as well. I read several reviews before visiting this particular car lot and I can only speak for myself. Our experience was very pleasant and none of the high pressure sales tactics we have experienced before. We will certainly come back next time we are shopping for a vehicle!

Worked with Mike Ramey over the past week to purchase a Honda Civic for my daughter. It went so well I purchased a Chevy Traverse for my wife later the same week. They gave an excellent trade-in value on our old vehicle and a fair price on the used vehicles I purchased. It was an easy process, no haggle, no tricks and positively streamlined paperwork. Mike even helped clear up some insurance questions that arose during the switchover with an agent on the phone! Full service, premium used vehicles. Highly reccommended.

No real mechanics. Awful selection. The owner is selfish, rude, greedy, and knows he runs a crappy business and doesnt do anything to make angry customers satisfied. They tell you to take your car to OTHER professionals because they dont know how to fix anything, even if its supposed to be covered by your warranty. Save your money, buy your car from LITERALLY anyone else.

I was shopping for my daughter a used vehicle & dropped by Auto Source, to check them out. I was not impressed with their inventory, or their overall operation. While the salesman was polite & made an effort to help me, I did not leave feeling as comfortable as the place we finally bought from.
