The guys here are great! Ive started going a lot to not only play Friday Night Magic since 13 came out, but take part in some of the other events they have. Their on hand comic book selection could be better, but they are always willing to order the items for you or tell you the easiest way to get it. Great selection of cards and card needs as well as tabletop RPGs and boardgames. If you are looking for a good place to be able to go and just hang out and talk that is not inside the beltway, dont look any farther.

Nothing but mainstream offerings here. If you just want the run-of-the-mill vanilla Marvel, DC, Warhammer and Wizards of the Coast offerings then this place (maybe) has a slightly better selection than a Barnes and Noble. Some people like myself expect more of an independent hobby story. -- maybe some Dust, Hordes, Malifaux, Runquest, Fate, Traveler, Gurps, Rolemaster... the list goes on and on.

They may be great for card games, but theyre comic selection was minimal at best. Didnt even have some of the most popular compilations. DC section was TINY>maybe 2 shelves. Marvel was a bit better, but still lackluster. There are many more stores with better selection and knowledge than this. Id drive farther to get to those.

Awesome as usual. They always have what I need, and the owner, Tom, is knowledgeable about comics, MTG, as well as many of the board games in the store. Mike and the rest of the staff are on point, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly to a fault. No other shop for me. Plus, all the cool kids shop here.

Friendly staff and mtg players. Seems to have a very active MTG FNM and Saturday tournament schedule. Had a lot of fun my first time out there. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a spot to play or get back into playing mtg.

Went for a prerelease. Was forced to wait almost an hour for prize support after I was finished. If I was local and knew everyone probably not a big deal, but as an out of towner playing to see the cards it was very annoying.

One of the best places in the DC area to play Magic. FNMs, weekend leagues, prereleases/releases.. you name it. Ive found that magic events also tend to be lower priced than at many other stores.... always a plus!

My 5-year old son loves browsing the kids section here. It might cost a few bucks more to pick up a book here (vs Amazon) but this way you know what you are getting and youre supporting a local business.

Great place if youre into MtG, decent comic selection, mediocre for other card or board gaming. Always a weird vibe though, and people (customers? Visitors? Guests??) just standing around awkwardly...

An excellent comic store! I love coming here on Free Comic Book day, because they do it up with cosplayers, moon bounce and special guests! They have a great selection and a friendly helpful staff.

Great place to play Magic. Started going there around March 2013 and have been attending every week since. The staff is nice and the events are ran very well. The judge staff is extremely helpful.

Great Magic scene here. FNMs and some pickup drafts or testing during the week. The FNM crowd is usually around 16-32 people. The owner is also very knowledgeable in the game.
