The people in the bookselling part of the store were very good, the best in fact...but the restaurant was a whole other story...as I stood there for 10 minutes, (order taken and paid for) the 5 to 7 people behind me were waited on and allowed to go on their way. It wasnt until the store was just about empty that the cashier remembered that I had not been waited on and decided she should get my order. This is so unacceptable on so many levels I wouldnt mind but my service came behind the wait person fixing the skinny pump, something that they did not even use during the time I was there. At this point, the only reason I could think of why I was treated so shabby was that I am black. And dont get me wrong, I am only half black, so I try to be patient and tolerant but this was just too much with no credible excuse.

Convenient location at Libbie Place shopping center facing W. Broad St. Includes area for music and DVDs in the back of the store, magazine area & a café to the right of the entrance, and wifi. Drawbacks: Part of the book space devoted to childrens toys. No outlets in café area to plug in your charging cord for laptops/cell phones. Bathrooms get lots of traffic. Cigarette smoke near entrance (outdoor bench used for cig breaks).

This store has a nice set up, however, I did not appreciate driving over 45 minutes in order to be told that the book that I had on hold for me to pick up after work was given to someone else. Thank you for ordering a new one for me to come back ANOTHER DAY to pick up, but maybe if someone would have called to warn me before wasting an hour of my time and gas, I would come back to purchase it.

Obviously plenty of books, however service was questionable. Waited in line while the cashier took 10 minutes with one customer and there was a line of 5+ people. After taking 10 min on one customer and line is now closer to 10 people the cashier called for back up. 5 minutes later still no backup and had to call a second time for back. Very unprofessional and unaware cashier.

This location is generally well-stocked and easy to navigate. I can usually find the section Im looking for pretty easily. I was looking for a book in store that they did not have available, as it was on back-order, and the staff was friendly and helpful in trying to help me track down the book before helping me reserve it for pick-up when a new shipment is received.

You can always find a good read to flip through. They will order anything under the sun if its not already there. I particularly like the trinkets / gifts near the checkout lines. I heard that they will be serving drinks soon, which will be a game changer. This could soon be a prime destination for peoples Tinder dates.

Had trouble finding everything i needed. I shared with the cashier what i couldnt find and she walked with me to get it. I think things should be easier to find, but this was awesome service from the cashier. If she hadnt shown me or if I hadnt mentioned it, then there would have been a loss of sales.

I have been a customer for so long that these people know my name. Ive gotten to go to each Harry Potter event. I am never afraid to ask for help. When I was in school I would sit in Barnes & Noble with my laptop plugged in for hours.

Nice bookstore atmosphere. Cant compete with Amazons prices but if youre looking to browse and might need staff to help you this is a good place. Also they cafe has decent coffee and snacks and plenty of seating.
