I went to the Auto Center with a Groupon that was vague and lacked the proper information in covering items in an auto care package. In essence, the item that Sears (at the retail level) said was covered in the deal was not clearly listed on the advertisement. When I pointed this out, I was advised to try taking up the matter with Groupon, because the individual stores do not set forth the terms of the deal. I admitted Groupon had already been contacted, and that no one there could find any information specifying the terms and conditions of the item being questioned in the package deal, and in turn suggested that I contact the retailer. Note: When Groupon was of no assistance, I was put into contact over the phone with Sears Online Services, who suggested I take up the matter at the retail store level. When all this information had been conveyed, Kevin at Sears Auto Center agreed that the advertisement was vague and did not specify whether or not the item I needed was in fact covered. Kevin argued valiantly on behalf of his company, and for that, he should definitely be commended. Nonetheless, he made an executive decision and honored my request. No managers were needed or called over to my knowledge. Kevin handled and took ownership of the situation like a true professional. Its rare to see such remarkable customer service, these days, and Kevin exemplified exactly that. My reason for a four star rating: Sears (the company, not its employee at the retail level) did not properly convey the information on the Groupon advertisement and forced its employees into a difficult situation. I wish Google ratings offered half-stars. Because of Kevin, he singlehandedly earned that extra half star, in my opinion.

When I was installing my new dishwasher, I needed a 1/4" nut driver. I got out my Craftsman 10pc set, to find the 1/4" one was actually a 3/16" size (the handle was correct, but the size was wrong, put together incorrectly at the factory). No problem with the lifetime guarantee, so I took to to the store at 6211 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church, VA, to replace it. The lady at the first counter I met was very friendly, sent me to the Tools department. After waiting for about 10 minutes, Dewayne shows up at the counter. He told me if I can find another one like it, he can possibly exchange it. So after finding it myself, I went back to the counter...no Dewayne. Two other customers were attempting to purchase tools also, but no Dewayne. The employees at other nearby counters sent us all back to the Tools counter. I guess you cant buy from multiple departments within Sears without making multiple purchases? After waiting roughly another 10 minutes, and listening the the other employees page Dewayne on the intercom several times, a manager from upstairs and another gentleman finally showed up to help us. They were both very friendly and helpful. Long story short: If you need something in the Tools department at Sears, dont go to this store if Dewayne is working. Hes useless.

Horrible service from Lands End, A young dude with Dreads needs to be trained or flat out kicked out, he needs to learn to respect customers, i walked up to the counter, the guy was on his phone and i had to get his attention so he can help me, i told him i needed help exchanging items for a smaller size, he didnt even say Hello he just started scanning the Shirts and when he was done he just threw the receipt and said "ma bad" and said your total is $10.$$ and i asked him why i had to pay if it was an equal exchange and he said because youre exchaning the shirts and they cost more, and then i asked him if he could explain how if the shirts where the same and he rolled his Eyes and started acting like i was bothering him and he acted like he didnt want to help, he just turned the moniter and said that one shirt was more expensive and then i said cool i just wanted to make sure, he printed the receipt, didnt even fold the shirts i had to personally put them back in the bad i said "Thank you" and the dude didnt say a word!!! get him out of there, needs to learn to respect others

I was in Sears falls church Thursday 3 days before Christmas second floor the lines was so long women dept men dept extremely long as much as 12 people at every register in line I seen 1 register nobody in line me and another customer in front of me went there this woman who works for Sears big chain store employee the rudest an idiot who talks and talks say she wont take us cause she can only ring up Lands End merchandise is u seriously that stupid instead of bein a team on Sears employees ms lazy refused and nobody was in her line her name is Christiane in the lands end dept she needs to no that everyone who pays for merchandise should have the opportunity to pay anywhere in the store I went downstairs to pay womens clothes where the sell tools and they didnt refuse was extremely friendly and professional. Christiane should b fired or register taken away she probably does this often she should b cleaning toilets in Sears she is a disgrace to Sears corporations

If you want to speak to someone who speaks decent english, dont go here! I asked a very simple question, do you have this dress in stock, and the lady couldnt understand me. So, after putting me on hold to find someone who did speak english, which took like 10 minutes, I was told that this store does not carry womens dresses and only juniors dresses. Seriously Sears?! You dont carry womens dresses? Your website says that this store does.... Rude, horrible service... just stay away..... Whatever happened to Sears.... they are now the quality of what Kmart used to be... unless you are going for tools or appliances, just dont waste your time

Lets start from 1_ sears auto center, The man in charge(mr. Juan) was some how upset, After i schedual to fix my car i get there and bring up my Groupon voucher, he changed his attitude and while turning his head left and right said " Groupon is always...." after that he talk to me like i did something wrong!!!! I really never come back there. Why they have to get upset for thire advertising? Isnt it funny???!!! 2_ sears store Threre is no price for most item some price are too old and they didnt change and there is nobody to help. You cannot continue shopping in the Ares close to restrooms...... Thats too bad

I ordered some rubber mats for my car online for in store pick-up. The web site indicated that the store had the item in stock. Never received confirmation email. Called Sears customer service after a few days and they told me the order was cancelled by the store. The money, however, was taken out of my account to pay for the order. Now customer service says a refund may take 3-5 days, but the store has to do it. Very frustrating! Never again! l

"The" most organized jean section in comparison to anywhere esle- comapre to Kohls which has little selection and range or the messy disaster of old Navy. Racks and racks over every jean and pants available all on sale! MAkes my back to school clothes shopping with a reluctanty teen a snap. Now he doesnt look the usual stumble bum! Great Dept.
