I purchase a vehicle from them and the next day I notice it was leaking oil so I took it to a mechanic and after inspecting the vehicle they told me that the the oil drain plug is leaking oil from a possible bolt stripped or the pan itself and that the power steering pump might be leaking also. I took the car to the dealership the next day and explain the situation so they agree to fix it. So according to my salesman he made the appointment with Quick Lane so they could fix the issue. I go to Quick Lane and when I get there they tell me yes we got a call from the dealer your appointment is schedule for Thursday. Come Thursday I even took off work to drop the car off and when I get to Quick Lane. They have no idea or record that I was going to drop off the vehicle. So Quick Lane tell me no we cant do anything about it because we dont have the proper documentation. So I got back to the dealer and spoke to Dan Horseman about the situation so he told me he would investigate and contact the proper people to take care of this and that somebody would call me nobody did by the way. I left the car at Quick Lane and left the car key with Dan Horneman. Comes Friday (today) I contacted Quick Lane this morning and again I get to by the representative that he has no record of my car or me for service. By now I am really annoyed by the situation so I contact the dealer again asking for a manager so I speak with Jeff Kohl and wow this guy is really something of the bat he get loud and disruptive with me. He wouldnt even let me speak blaming others instead of finding a quick solution. From what I got from him he has really bad customer service skills or maybe he was having a bad morning regardless thats not how a customer gets treated. To add icing on the cake I toke my self guy from day one that I was going to be financing with my bank and I specifically told him not to run my credit. He was like yeah that wont be a problem we wont do that. I get an alert the other day guess from who? Ted Britt Ford. How convenient right? This has been a really bad experience and the lack of communication is unreal. I will also be making an official complain wit BBB.

Frank was a great salesman and very friendly, however I was appraised a certain amount for my trade-in which I was happy with and agreed to, and we spoke EXTENSIVELY about this specific amount and the other numbers that it affected. We came to an agreement on price and they drew up the paperwork and we signed it, only to find out that they still added in an extra 5000 in negative equity that should have never existed. When I called the manager, Jeff to discuss whether it was a mistake in the paperwork, he proceeded to SHOUT at me on the phone for the entire conversation claiming they never told me the number that they did and I was making it all up and if I had an issue with it then I should have brought it up when we signed. Granted, I will take the blame for not looking closer at the paperwork because I assumed it said the numbers we had previously signed on agreeing to, but the complete disrespect and lack of customer service on his part, as well as the underhanded dealing with lying to me about my trade-in value and then denying ever having told me the number we agreed to is completely despicable and horrible business practice. I strongly advise that you check everything 5 times with these people because even after you agree and sign to a number, theyll change it and not show it to you before you sign. I wont recommend this business for anyone and I feel completely taken advantage of by them. If you do still end up doing business with them, and you have any issues at any time, prepare yourself for Jeff the manager to shout at you for no reason when you calmly ask for clarification on an something because apparently thats how they do business there.

I was in search/need of a new(used) car but I knew my credit was not up to par, my sister-friend, Kim referred me to FRANK. I was nervous at first but FRANK and his friendly, personable personality put all my nerves at ease. FRANK assured me that he was going give it his all to "Make It Happen" and he did just that. FRANK answered all of my questions, went over every document one by one and allowed me to take my time to read through all the documents before I signed. Not one time did I feel rushed or that he was only about "MAKING THAT SALE". When I finally met JEFF, he was very cordial and kind. In my estimation, JEFF went over and above to work his “MANAGERIAL MAGIC” and I ended up driving off the lot in a BEAUTIFUL, SLEEK, SILVER, 2013 HONDA ACCORD with all the bells and whistles. My suggestion to anyone who is planning to stop by Smart Wheels... 1) Know your credit score 2) Know your budget 3) Keep an open/understanding mind regarding interest rates (after all Smart Wheels is there to offer a SECOND CHANCE to those that need it) 4) Remain optimistic 5) Have patience 6) MOST OF ALL... Do not allow the experience (reviews) of others influence your decision to pay Smart Wheels a visit with a smile. You will kick yourself if you do... In closing... FRANK and JEFF made my car buying experience one to remember!!! Thank you Jeff and Frank you guys are AWESOME! ~ Michelle, A VERY SATISFIED CUSTMER

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about salesman Donnie Ricketts at Smart Wheels. Id been car shopping for the past few months and had grown tired of pushy salespeople and getting shown cars that I had no interest in buying. Just an hour before closing I went to Smart Wheels in Fairfax and was greeted by Donnie. He wasnt pushy, intimidating AND he KNOWS cars. Donnie doesnt just sell cars, hes been an automotive mechanic for over two decades (20+ years of knowledge and helpfulness)! Donnie asked me the right questions and only showed me cars I wanted to see and, despite it being after closing time (9pm), he stayed after hours to allow me time to test drive and look at vehicles at one of his dealerships sister lots down the street. Donnie went above and beyond. He gives honest information about cars, is a hard worker, and truly EARNS his sales. Because of Donnie, I was able to find the perfect car for me and I would come back to whatever dealership he works for to buy my next one. Thanks Donnie for all the help! Im a very happy owner of a 2013 Ford Fiesta!

While the dealership is nice, the personality and knowledge of our salesperson was what was truly impressive. Our salesman, Donnie Ricketts has 20+ years of working as a Mechanic and it showed and was a fresh change of pace from the usual high-pressure, low knowledge salesman out there. Donnie will not sell you a bad car, his patience is unreal, and his personality is top notch. If the car you are looking for is not on the Smart Wheels lot, Donnie will find the right car at one of the nearby Ted Britt dealers, and get you on your way in a reliable, clean car. Take the hassle, and countless hours wasted out of buying a car and go to Smart Wheels Fairfax, and ask for Donnie! You will not be disappointed. We cannot thank Donnie Ricketts enough for putting us in a beautiful ride. When it comes time to find a new ride, we will be looking for Donnie, and so will our friends and family! Thank you Donnie!
