In the time that it has opened in dumfries I have done my primary shopping here. Ive Never had an issue with it. In the city we often had to put a quarter in to get A cart. I keep a special spot for a quarter in my car. As for the bags...bring your own or pay 10 cents. Its more environmentally friendly. Remember shoppers used to do this too and bottom dollar before it went back to food lion. Most staples for your family are here. Most are not name brand however they are good products. You gotta do a little research into where you shop and most would know this. Two complaints. Last two times ive gone the cashiers moved so fast they crushed some of my boxes. Respect my food! The other is that the strawberries were moldy. These were freshly stocked too. Almost every crate :( I had to dig to find the best one. But overall I love it here. It saves me money and I can use that saved money for other things not found at aldi. Win win for everyone

This is the most disgusting store of theres I have ever seen. The was food on the floor in like every aile. Now I understand that the prices are low but they had nothing on their shelves, all the bread was basically gone along with the fresh fruits and veggies. So many items were not priced with a sign or monarch. Oh and the icing on the cake the litlle cashier has the biggest attitude problem shoving my items on the belt because she kept pressing the button to move it forward. You cant even get a sentence out with out her cutting you off and saying we dont accept that. To end on a nice note the young boy who was running around getting boxes was so nice and friendly.

Everyone warned me not to shop here. I should have listened. I decided to try it with my young daughter. She is in one arm and I go to get a cart...nope...I dont have a quarter! So I have to juggle my groceries and my kid. Then, they have NOTHING. The items they have are brands no one has heard of. Then, you have to pay for a bag and bag your own groceries. So in short - I saved a buck, like literally maybe one dollar but it was a huge pain. I would have spent WAY more if I could have used a cart vs what I could hold in my hand. Not the place for me.

This place is like a big lots of food. Prices are good but selection is sparse and you need need a quarter to unlock the shopping cart, though you do get it back. It looks kind of like a 3rd world grocery store in that cases of food are just cut open to save the cost of stocking. If you like saving money and dont need a big selection of items you might like this place.

It is not the Aldi I grew up with......well lit, clean with a Harris Teeter feel. Great prices! Good selection of cheeses, and vegetables looked good. I even saw lobster tails. Note that you do need a quarter for the grocery cart which you will get back when you return the cart. We will definitely be making frequent visits.

Bright beautiful store and the prices are unbeatable! Im so glad to have an Aldi 5 min from my house. Ive been shopping at Aldi for years and always have to travel to Woodbridge, and Woodbridge is getting ao congested I hate going there so this makes it so I almost never have to go to Woodbridge again!

This ALDI is normally relatively clean and the staff is very courteous. Typically I find that Friday evenings are a less ideal time to go due to the busyness. Remember, like every other ALDI, there are no free bags, if you want them, bring them yourself, or liberate empty boxes.

Milk at Dumpfies 98¢ ! All others are regular prices 2$and some cents ! Water 24 for 2.98 spring and gronola cheap ! Off brands but great to me ! Cant tell the difference ? Its all in the mind ! Pay if you want to waste your money ! Berries cheap ! Just try it youll like it !

I love this place. Milk is .99 cents a gallon and eggs . .45 a dozen. U cant beat that. And I love their produce and meat Dept. Meats are really priced low and good! Love their fit yogurt for .33 cents. Store is clean and friendly.

Worst performing Aldi ever. Chronically understocked, district manager unable to fix the problem. Save yourself the aggravation and go to the one on Gordon Blvd. in Woodbridge instead.
