Delighted Day

Both Hmart and Global Food accept WIC if you have this benefit, I found Mama (Thai instant noodle) at global only $0.39 (3 for 1 if buying 3, too) which are even better price than amazon Prime, for produces (some fruits are cheaper at Hmart, some are more expensive, depending on which week, today Global food has seedless grapes(black $1.79/lb, red $1.49/lb, green $1.99/lb) banana $0.49/lb, strawberry $4.99, 5 kiwi for $2.98 while hmart grape $2.99/lb, banana $0.59/lb, tomato (Roma/beef steak) $0.99, 2 lb. kiwi for $3 etc. They both offer authentic fruit which is quiet same price. The store nice and clean and I like the way they organize its by country too. And the better thing than Hmart,they allows you push theirs shopping carts to your car, not kidding, shopping at Hmart is a pain in the butt, they have metal bars blocking theirs shopping carts to go to the parking lots. Hmart offer, meat slightly cheaper. (Chicken Drum $0.49-69/lb, global $0.99. They both are cheaper than Walmart and Giant in this point. But if you want regular grocery, Walmart will probably win the price, such as Walmart 1 gallon whole milk @$1.58, here at Hmart or Global they both @$2.99 but all 3 have used growth hormone, I prefer $1.99 giant whole milk (no hormone used). If you like chips or goodies, stickers, stuffs for kids may be you can swing by dollar tree behind global, some items that not usually sell as much as $1 also sell at a dollar but most items in general, such a deal.

Very interesting Market different kinds of produce and fresh seafood really good prices on some things other prices are really high on things like soda and chips the staff is hit-or-miss friendly and if you use the restroom repair the hold your nose cuz it stinks back there on the loading dock makes you wonder what youre buying. But if you can ignore all that they really do have some fantastic produce and exotic items and seafood fresh live crabs and lobster so its not Whole Foods but it doesnt have whole food prices. Located in what used to be an old Giant Food in the back of the shopping center. Oh and a great selection of Asian noodles and accoutrements.

I had a bad experience at this place. They have bad customer service and I felt discriminated as a black person. I approached the cashier, she was Latina, when it was time for me to pay and she asked me if I was going to use food stamps. I felt that she assumed because I am a black female that all black females use food stamps. I felt disrespected and stereotyped. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

I had a very good experience at Global Food they carry all the international food at reasonable price including all Halal food products they give a gift of shopping of over $100. Store is clean and good place to shop. I would recommend this store who is looking to save money

This is a very different store it trys to accommodate all people in our Village and the produce is second to none last much longer then any other store. Staff is not very friendly but has good produce which is hard to find. Meat section is ok a little high on some things.

It is a nice place to shop for African foods or groceries. The reason why I gave 4 star and not 5 is that the cashiers dont smile at the customers. They express sadness or uptight attitude. The manager should see to this asap.
