This place is awful, the only food worth a damn is chick fil a. Everything in the place is coming apart somewhere. The power might go out for no reason at all. Nothing but health and safety violations everywhere. They clean everything with the same rags. Thats right, the rag that cleaned the toilet also cleaned the tables youre eating at. But thats okay, youre already probably sick from inhaling particles of raw sewage from the decaying, barely functioning plumbing. No worries right? Its cool. I dare you to buy a gift card, if you run into the sweet lady at the desk, good for you, if you run into the manager or her secretary, just walk, Ive never met a more rude and condescending pair of sub humans. All in all, its worth the trip to go to short pump. This place is getting leveled in a year or so anyways.

This mall is very old and outdated. They have brought in some newer stores over the years. But overall, it needs serious updating! Its Charlottesvilles only indoor mall. Having said that, I prefer the outdoor pedestrian mall to this mall. In fact when I really need to do some serious shopping, I go all the way to the Short Pump mall in Richmond. Since the Short Pump mall is only 50 mins from my house and the Fashion Square mall is 35 mins (depending on traffic it can take much longer). If I really need good choices, I chose the mall in Richmond. I would give more stars to Fashion Square if they remodeled it.

Overall the mall is great but they have a section where vendors sell different items. the vendor that is bad its called REPEAT THE HEAT. Its a big RIP OFF. Please dont waste your money like i did. I bought a heat pad from that vendor. I had it not even 2 weeks and started leaking on my couch and ruined my clothes. I tried several times to get in touch with the manger in charge but she never called me back. I was told to call a 1800 number and send in another $10 too get a replacement. I had already spent $30 for the pad.........BIG RIP OFF.....

Its a small town mall. It doesnt have a lot of specialty stores, and yeah, sure, the bathrooms might be disgusting. At the same time it is the only place in an hour or more drive where you can actually buy mens clothing that isnt dress wear or absolute garbage like from target. Its a mall, Im sorry it doesnt have a lush, but it has a Starbucks and sometimes they turn the air conditioning on.... So.... Its likely better than most people in this town deserve. (Im not the owner )

Been in cville 28 years, Hate this Mall.. The stores are national chains and very expensive. Love JC Penneys though. I esp hate the hours they keep. esp Sundays. Not everyone is a church goer ,, I like to get up ,get moving and get things done. But this mall doesnt open until 1230. I live outside of town so having to wait till noon to run my errands there is such a waste of my time.Which is why I will go to Walmart or Kmart instead, They can have my business instead.

Not a bad mall, the major stores are Belk, JC Penny and Sears which are complimented with your typical kiosks and clothing shops like Buckle and Eddie Bauer. They also have a Best Buy shop which Id never seen in a mall before. The weakest point is definitely the limited food selections, though they do have a Chick-Fil-A and Red Robin. Lots of parking as well and really friendly staff and management.

Only indoor shopping all in the city and a good hangout place with family! Got almost all good rand stores and play area is relaxing place while kids are playing. No great food options Avila le at food court but good enough for such cute little mall and city.

While the atmosphere is nice, there is a pretty poor selection of stores. I went just to look around for shoes, and youre only options for mens shoes are Belk and JPenney, neither of which are really good options. The kids play area is pretty nice, though.

This mall is absolutely disgusting. There is trash all over the floors and the air has the aroma of feces. It is also common knowledge that corners are cut in the area on sanitation to save some pennies. The mall manager should be ashamed of herself.

JC Penneys, found what I was looking for... Store, JCP as a whole needs to move out of the 70s-80s decor! Clean, but cant get passed all the "formica"... Kind of like being in you parents kitchen. Needs serious updating!

Not a vast array of stores but Belk has nice sales.Small food court and lots of kids hang out here after school...major turn off because a lot of them are rude and security does very little to control the situation.

There are only a few stores i really go to. It is getting a little outdated and could use a revamp especially with all the new shopping options being built around it. Small childrens play area for little children.

This place is ridiculous. The mall Santa was so rude. My kids were left heartbroken. I dont know how to explain to them why Santa was so mean to mommy and didnt want to talk to them. NEVER coming back.

You would think that after the incident several weeks ago that they would have beefed up security. But, I just walked from one end of the mall to the other and back and didnt see one guard, anywhere...

You dont see very many malls anymore and the ones you do see are normally vacant. Fashion Square is full of shops and places to eat. Quick and easy to get to and is ideal for that quick shopping trip.

Has to be the worse mall ever, all we have is 5 reastuants & none of the stores ever stay there cause the rent is way to high.I perfer to drive a hour to Richmond to go to a better mall.

Its a great place to shop, but not many stores last that long because the mall charge alot of money on the stores because of rent. Security really isnt doing anything either.

I went to the Chanel counter in Belk for an event. Peggy had me try out the new Chanel line which I liked very much. Its a medium-sized mall but it usually has what I need.
