I signed up for the "Edge" plan almost two weeks ago. The salesman, whos name I will leave out, was very helpful and spent almost two hours going over are cost and setting us up with phones for our whole family. Upon recieving our first bill for almost $100 more than we were told I contacted the store for assistance. I was told to call *611 for help with my bill. The customer support from Verizon was friendly and explained my bill clearly. They also told me that there was no way that I would ever be able to achieve the monthly payment that I was quoted. They told me I should have got the quote in writing. (Food for thought futur customers) I was told that I could return my phones for a refund because I was within the 14 day trial period. I went to the store today to return my phones where I was once again greeted with friendly service. The gentlemen helping me complete this process however stopped halfway through to assist another customer while the other two employees watched videos on their cell phones. When the process was complete owed about $34.00 when you consider that I paid $499.61 less than two weeks ago I was frustrated and curious about my refund. The response from the associate today (in his defense he is not the one who sold me on the original plan) was no understandable explanation just a comment " look buddy I am just doing my job." So I paid over $500.00 for less than two weeks of service and nothing else to show for it. My advice to future customers is to get your quote in writing.

My wife and I shopped here for new telephones. We both had trouble with our phones, battery life was poor among other problems.. too many to list here. We called the store 4 times and no one called us back. We visited the Verizon Store at exit 7 in Bristol and we were amazed at the difference between the two stores. I am not sure if the Gate City Store is like a second hand store for Verizon or what.?? My receipt even says , " Cellular Sales of Virginia LLC". My bank statement also states Cellular Sales of VA. We returned our phones to this store and we are still waiting for our money to be refunded to us. I asked the salesman if he was aware that Verizon is currently running a special and they will give you up to $200.00 on a trade in( even if the old phone is cracked or damaged). He said, "no". Funny thing is... They have commercials on TV and radio that speak about the trade in offers. They are quick to take the money out of your checking account.... But they say it can take up to 3 business days to see a refund. 3 days later.. I see zero refund. Just be very careful if you decide to to business at one of these stores. They are very nice when selling you a phone. But if you need service or help after the sale they get very unhelpful and defensive.

We had a great experience. Our sales rep, cody McQueen, was extremely knowledgeable and patient. We feel that he worked hard to get us the best plan and phone for our needs as well as make sure all of our data was transfered from old phones...it was a true full service experience!
