If you want to go somewhere with no headache, no surprise fees, no wait time, and just overall great service, this is definitely the spot to go to! So, I came in yesterday to upgrade my phone. I was honestly really dreading this process because I am unfamiliar and unaware of how it works. I didn’t want to be fooled and overcharged. However, Wahab, who was extremely welcoming and friendly, greeted me. He walked me through the entire process and explained to me in detail everything that was going on including charges and fees. I was probably really annoying because I am simply not technologically savvy, but he was extremely patient and did not show ANY signs of frustration or impatience; which I really appreciated. Saher, the manager, continuously checked on us to make sure that everything was going smoothly. Another reason I was avoiding upgrading my phone was because I didn’t want to lose any valuable information from my old phone. But Saher set up everything for me and was able to transfer all the data from my old phone to my new phone. Thankfully, I didn’t lose anything!!! Saher also hooked me up with a new jet pack! Whenever I’m somewhere with no wi-fi, I could turn on the jet pack and use my laptop; literally anywhere! I went home and started using it and it worked just like Saher said it would. Another thing I really appreciated was how clear and transparent these employees are. There were no surprise charges or random extra fees, unlike my experience with AT&T. I would have so many sudden and unexplained charges, which was extremely annoying. They effectively explained to me all the fees and charges and what they were for, and Wahab didn’t even get slightly irritated when I kept asking repeatedly if I was going to get any sudden charges. They didn’t leave me confused at all, or even wondering because everything was so clear. And I find that to be completely refreshing, from the usual hypocrisy that happens with other phone companies. I also didn’t want to stay in the store for too long because I had other errands to run, and thankfully, both Wahab and Saher accommodated me so quickly. It felt like I was in and out of the store, but I was able to get so much done. This store is not necessarily the closest one for me, but I may just come back the next time I need help because the level of service and professionalism was great! I told almost everyone I know about this branch, because it was honestly a great experience and I will surely recommend it to anyone who asks. Extremely knowledgeable and excellent customer service!! I recommend this Verizon retail branch to everyone. These guys really know their business.

I really want people to be inherently good. However, whatever their motivation, some people are just scoundrels. It makes me a bit sad that I have to tell this story about unscrupulous employees. I visited this store based on a quick glance at these reviews which in hindsight seem 90% bogus. I am totally responsible for being a lazy consumer but after investigating weird charges on the receipt and on my account, I can attest that the staff are dishonest and deceitful. First note of caution: this is NOT an official corporate Verizon store but an independent retailer. They can access and make changes to your account but are not bound by Verizon product pricing, ethics or contracts. The salesperson charged $60 over the official price for the phone he sold me. He gave me a "special" 10-dollar-off-deal on a screen protector that he claimed was regularly 49.99, except its available anywhere and everywhere else for the regular price of 39.99. A "free" jet pack came with a "device loyalty" fee (40) on the receipt along with another charge on my online bill. He claimed I could return it at any time if I didnt want it; I was later told by VZ customer service that I had been entered into a 2-year contract for the thing and that there was a $175 early termination fee. The guy added insurance to my account without my permission and apparently shared my number with telemarketers as i receive at least 5 spam calls a day, which only began after visiting this shady joint. The amount of time I had to spend sorting out the nonsense charges with legitimate Verizon customer service, returning to the site to get a refund after realizing how scummy they are, and then going through another phone purchase at an actual store is just stupid. Dont be fooled by this place, please, unless you genuinely dont care about blowing your money. Who really wants to be played? The fact that I have had to register on the govt Do Not Call list for the first time in over 10 years of using this same number through multiple carriers should say something about how these people do business. They seem like nice people and I enjoyed my interactions while there. Unfortunately, the business practices here are problematic. If all these reviewers had really amazing experiences, I must just have bad luck. Or, it could also be that the employees entered the 5 star rating on their phones while setting it up, as was the situation in my case. Seemed a bit brazen at the time but harmless. Be careful. Luckily, the official Verizon people I talked to were familiar with these kinds of tactics and removed all of the extra charges.

I come in to the store from time to time for technical questions about my phone and I absolutely love the staff there. They are all extremeley helpful, especially the rep that worked with me, Melanie. I purchased my Galaxy S7 from this location without knowing much about these phones except just how to use it as a regular phone. She and her manager Saher went above and beyond the call of duty to show me the features of the phone and how to use them. Not only did she show me how to use my phone but, thoroughly went through my account which I have my whole family on and saved me about $40 off my bill even after upgrading just by changing my plan and advising me to come in every few months as the plans change frequently and the prices as well, which is what the issue was with my account. I was on an older plan with higher pricing. I now have a new plan, with more data for a lower price. She even went over exactly what my next bill would look like explaining all the indiviual charges and how it will decrease over time. I have been to several other Verizon stores, and overall, the customer service here versus any corporate store I have been to is amazing, where at the corporate stores there is almost none! My experience here was very personal an I intend on making Melanie, Saher, and all the other guys here, my "go-to" for any of my wireless needs. I ABSOLUTELY recommend this location before ANY corporate store. I truly appreciate the time and effort put into assisting me with all my questions, and their patience.

I have been a Verizon customer for over 7 years now, and the overall service is usually satisfying. I prefer to visit the Verizon store by my house in Hagerstown, since the customer service there has always been great to me. I was in Arlington a few days ago for work, and needed to adjust a few things on my account so I dropped in. I was immediately greeted by the employees while they were all smiling, which I thought was funny but pleasant. Long story short, one of the specialists, Wahab, was able to walk me through my options and I must say its never been a smoother transition. I also ended up setting up a brand new mobile hotspot for my business, which I got a great deal on. I usually dont write reviews for my retail visits, but nothing beats having a smooth and educational experience while everyone is easy going and friendly. Thank you!
