We brought our wedding rings in to this jeweler to have them resized on a Monday. The first person we talk to says it will take a week to do them, but then we were told that they would be done by Wednesday, or Friday at the latest, and someone would call us on Tuesday with an estimate. On Tuesday, we never got a phone call, so we called and were told wed get a call by noon on Wednesday (the day they were supposed to be done). Noon on Wednesday comes and goes with no phone call, so we call again--theyll call us back later that day. When they do finally call us back, not only do they say its going to take another week, but they give us a ridiculous estimate for the cost because of the "cost of the medal" (our rings are Palladium, which is uncommon by far from expensive)--we immediately picked up our rings and brought them to another jeweler a block away (Ascot Diamonds, on Fairfax Dr.), who was able to do the complicated ring for 1/2 the cost and the easy ring for 1/5 the cost. The second jeweler also confirmed that there was no reason to charge so much for the metal and that the only reason the complicated ring cost more was because of the stones set in the ring. We definitely do not recommend Express to anyone.

One of the two guys here was fine, the other was pretty full of himself, as though he were the customer. Sitting behind his little netbook with his cufflinks and lack of any welcoming attitude, he acted like he was doing me a favor by fixing the watch i paid him to fix. I wont go back unless i have to, as theres a guy whos real nice and capable over in Rosslyn where i work, right above the metro: M&J Jewelers, run by Hani Moula--id suggest going there.
