I ship lots of add stuff all of the world -- from carbon nanoparticles to really large mechanical structures. Linda and the folks at the UPS Store are wonderful. They can arrange crating and pickup and when you ship internationally they help you work through all of the shipping regs and customs and keep you informed of progress. I had a $30k camera in LA for pickup from a trade show. The night the show closed my camera was mistakenly picked up by the show organizers and taken to a warehouse 20 miles away. When Lindas crew arrived the next AM the camera was not there. They let her know about the problem and she worked it for hours to find it and get it into her crews hands. Her people had to travel 20 miles in LA traffic to pick it up, through no fault of their own. Despite the delay they got the camera back to my lab on time, and with no charge for the extra work they had to do. When I shipped a large contained of carbon particles the shippers were concerned about the explosive potential and the strict rule that the containers could not be opened for inspection because it would contaminate the ultrapure carbon. This took alot of discussion and alot of paperwork. These guys handled it all. You can trust them. They are as good as anyone on the basic stuff, and wonderful (almost essential) on the hard stuff.

Went to this location to ship a returned BB Gun. The guy asked me what it was and I told him. He started making excuses on why he could not ship it. I informed in of the UPS policy on guns can be sent to licensed dealers. He then said hes not going to ship it and told me to use the post office. I would not recommend this location.

Went into the store yesterday to get notary and scan services.....had a ton of docs to send for a house closing. The UPS assistant was extremely patient as I stumbled through all my paperwork and helped me get everything sorted out and sent to my agent. Great help and a very convenient location in Del Ray. Thanks UPS...!!

I send UPS and other packages at this store. Recently, I had an antique inlaid wood table, made by my great grandfather, shipped to Oregon. Patrick and the staff there were so nice and expertly packed the table. It arrived in excellent condition. I highly recommend this store!

Theyre friendly and convenient, but they dont have a UPS drop-off box, outside, or a slot in the door, so if you want to just drop something when they arent open, which I always see to want to, you have to go pretty far to find one.

Poor customer service, higher prices than USPS, and this store seems to always mess up my shipments. Will now use USPS or the UPS store on Duke St when UPS service is needed.
