Awful customer service!!! Let me just say a positive, the fact that this store has every type of battery for anything you can imagine appeared to initially to be a gem. It was our first time evening knowing of the stores exsistence. My husband and I went to purchase a battery on yesterday, what started out to be good, ended not so well. After spending $120 for the battery, there were two gentlemen in the store assisting us. i inquired about wheither or not they charge for putting the battery in, because neither my husband nor myself would be able to. For one of associates assisting us, it was time for him to go home (very vocal about it) in front of my husband and I. Once they went to install the battery in our truck, one of the associates indicated that we would have to pay for the installation. Im saying, I number one inquired about any additional costs. #2 Im sorry but why didnt you tell us that when we paid for the battery? As opposed to when you are in process of installing it? Newsflash, you do not tell customers after the fact, about any costs. It is the responsibility of the people working in the store to let your customers know. Well, needless to say , I was unhappy not only that they said nothing during process of us looking for the battery, but all the way to the actual sale. One of them proceeded to argue their point of why they didnt mention it, because I did not ask. And the other gentleman assisting him, had a horrible attitude about the situation overall about how I was wrong because I didnt ask. Both of them were extremely defensive!! And when I asked why they were arguing with me, he said wouldnt you argue your point if a customer was wrong? Really sir ?? Where do they do that?? Where is the accountability here? Your error you eat the costs. Period. Your job is to provide a service for your customers, we all make mistakes , no problem. But please dont argue with me (the customer) and try to justify your point and the nerve to be defensive like it wasnt your responsibility to let a customer know ahead of time. The overall point was that one of the gentleman wanted to go home. And was training the other associate. And not to mention they appeared to not know what they were doing by not using the correct tools. We had already been in the strore about 45 mins prior to the time he stated he was supposed to go home (at 6 pm). And the store wasnt closing until 7 pm. It is not my problem that it was time for you to go home. Personally I dont even think you should discuss that in front of a customer!! How rude!! Never again! And I absolutely will tell everyone I know about this experience at batteries plus. Horrible!!!

The process to get the battery was a breeze. Dealing with the credit fraud that came after has been a mess. Advice to anyone shopping here plan to use cash or theyll make you wish you had. Luckily we caught it quickly and fraud is taken seriously. I just today had to dispute their fraudulent charge with Quill.. My advice is to take your business to a company who doesnt prey on customers as this one does. [If they tell you that the chip reader is down, decline the sale and go somewhere else. My credit card company says that they indeed have the chip reader activated they just dont use it so it makes it easier to steal your CC information.]

I did not think I was going to be able to find the replacement NiMH battery pack for my several years old cordless house phone at first. But Batteries Plus Bulbs did. Not only did they have the specific replacement pack they had one with TWICE the capacity of the old one! They had it in stock and ready for me before they even opened. Very pleased they have a store within driving distance of me. The young man whom assisted me was extremely professional and needs to be commended I feel very bad for not being able to remember his name. Took a good look around the store when I picked up my order. I will 100% be back.

Im sure this is a great store as long as you dont get waited on by Matt. He clearly did not want to be there. He was curt with the customer in front of me, no smile or even a hello to either of us. He acted like I was bothering him when I asked the difference between the 2 battery choices & he sure wasnt happy to install the one I bought in my car. He didnt even acknowledge me when he was finished, just turned around & walked away with my old battery. I certainly wont go out of my way to shop here again. Shockingly poor customer service!

Purchased a Duracell Group 27F battery, model No. SLI27FM at BatteryPlusBulbs in Alexandria, VA. The 27F battery is just a perfect fit for my vintage 52 year-old "fun car", both in geometry and power delivery. And the staff was just exceptional assuring me every step of the way, up to the swap of old and install of new. In particular, kudos to Jon Gray for his assistance. I can totally recommend BatteryPlus. They are the "bees knees".

Arrogant customer service by a know-it-all behind the counter who continually cut me off when I tried to purchase batteries today. Very surprised. Prior service was outstanding. Today was horrible. I walked out without being able to purchase my batteries because they required two days of conditioning even though I have the charger that will do the same. Would I shop again - doubtful. I needed the batteries today.

I ordered the tractor battery online took my old one with me. The new was sitting there when I arrived ready to go. We did the the paper work in less than 5 minutes and on my way back home. Awesome job by the rep. I all most forgot received 10% off for the online purchase. I will definitely give them my business in the future.

These guys were super helpful and even allowed me to try it first to see if teh battery would solve my issue..(long story). Well it did and they really now their stuff. Its like new version of what radio shack use to be when they were needed and helpful!

The ordering process was super simple, and I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. They loaded the batteries in my vehicle for me. I would definitely shop here again. I bought two 6 volt batteries and they were very fresh, just three months old.

I ordered my battery online and spoke with someone at the store, to confirm they do in fact install batteries at the store and if I am buying the correct battery. They were very pleasant over the phone and in person. The installation was quick.

Purchased a marine battery for a sump pump in the spring. Battery was severely depleted during a 3-day long power loss (but kept the pump working). Staff did everything they could to revive battery at no cost. Great and knowledgeable service.
