Hit and miss with this store. A few times I have bought DVDs, books, other goods here. The food is all-American instant junk food, guaranteed to rot your teeth, stomach and heart simultaneously; the clothing and furniture, not worth the few m inutes of browsing. I would not go here for any kind of serious shopping, but I havent had any awful experience like SSS=AMAZING did (that sales associate should be "pegged" at noon at the Five Corners). Blah, with an occasional "Cool!" 3 stars, because Im in a good mood.

I bought a recliner sofa, and not pleased of the product. It doesnt work for the reclining by the button. We need to manually trigger that. It may be repaired but they dont have associates who can come and fix them. If you are planning to buy, you also may need to plan your own transport. I suffered for that and paid extra 125$. Same story for repair and thus I am not taking it for repair. Otherwise they have good ones and its a good shop for middle class.

Big lots has great customer service simply out of this world, our couch had some defect in its frame which was covered by manufacturer guarantee. They exchanged it and were really helpful and apologetic about it. Great staff and great service. Dont think twice to make them your first choice. Thank you so much big lots.

Good cheap stuff. If you are on a budget, this is the closest thing to a Walmart within walking distance of Essex Junction. Be careful of some of the items, since they often overstock and get dumped to places like this to sell fast. But, you cant argue with the prices. Nice staff too, friendlier than Wally mart.

I love exploring this big lots store. The staff is friendly and I always find something interesting for the home or my pups. A good selection of groceries and a large furniture section. The sales are great to keep up on and the 20% coupon emails are key to a better deal.

ESSEX Store is ok has some good things. Most the workers are not helpful. Holiday help workers are undesirables. Should hire better help but I guess most ppl dont want to work there. The one in MoVegas(Morrisville) is much better and bigger.

Great place for cheap groceries especially dry goods. Great prices for mostly decent items. May not always have the same items you have purchased there in the past but there is always some unique finds!
