Although I do somewhat agree with the previous post, I do have to say this...Quality! When you shop at Frank and Marias you definately get what you pay for, everything is the highest quality you can buy, all of the meats are prime, never choice or select, fresh mozzerlla made right on site is the best Ive ever had...especially when its still hot...not shipped in from Brooklyn, Pasta imported from Italy, truly amazing...and were not talking Barilla here, were talking the closest to homemade money can buy. Bell & Evans chickens put Purdue to shame...Even the deli meats are top notch, From Proscuitto di Parma to Mortadella. all of the Italian meats are imported and go way beyond Boars Head...All of thier food is a much higher quality then any food in any local grocery store...And the staff, definately very friendly, I cant tell you how many times they have gone out of thier way to get me something they dont normally carry, or made me a dish not on the menu. So In short, Yes, they are a little pricey, but everything is amazing, and well worth the money. Frank and Marias may not be the most economical choice for some shoppers, but definately worth it if you can swing it.

Great products that are so overpriced I could hardly believe what they were asking. I was in a pinch so I forked over the cash, but I will NEVER do that again. Its really sad too, the people seem nice and I could throw a football and hit this place from my house. Anyone local to Islip/Bay Shore should try the farmers market that sets up next to Town Hall in Islip on Saturday Mornings. There are a couple guys from Brooklyn that come out with fresh raviolis, sauce, mozzarella, Italian cookies and other goodies. Best of all, they are fairly priced! A dozen fresh raviolis are $5! Anyway, Frank & Marias offers good food but unacceptable prices. Too bad.

I recently stopped at frank and marias on my way to the fire island ferry and I absolutely loved it. Growing up in Italy as a kid being in Frank and marias made me feel very at home and welcomed. Their set up is beautiful and the staff is very helpful. They gave me samples and showed me around the whole store. It was really a great experience and I will deffinately be back for more ! The food was delicious, especially the fresh skirt steak I cooked when I got home, probably the best Ive ever had. I 100% recommend giving them a shot , they even deliver to fire island which was the icing on the cake!

I just discovered Frank & Marias and I am in heaven! Renting a house on FI, I longed for great bread, sausage, chicken, etc. They will not disappoint. I am only sorry I cant take them home with me.
