Dont waste your time. Went to the sandy location, showed up at 11:00 AM on a friday and the employee at the counter stated "all we have is what is in the window". Looking in the window they had maybe half a dozen glazed donuts. I explained i was picking up for a company celebration and needed 2 dozen if possible. Me asking that was agitating to the employee, as he let out a long sigh then said "all we have is in the window". Not only that, but im looking at the menu right above his head that offers cake donuts, maple bars, and all other assortments. I asked him about those, which seemed to upset him even more. Are they not trained to make more if they run out? Do they not undetstand that there is business competition? Is there no customer retention goal here? Wont be going back any time soon. There are far better donut places in the salt lake valley. I have no idea why youd choose to hire such terrible employees if youre a localy owned shop. Very dissatisfied.

Overall I was confused with the freshness of the doughnuts. I went in at 09:00 and more than half tasted like leftovers that they didnt want to throw out the night before. The mystery cream filled ones were the most disgusting doughnuts I have ever tasted and had to spit it out. The only doughnut that was good out of the dozen was the blueberry one. Next time I will get the ones from the grocery store, they were better last time I had them. One of the guys serving was nice enough, but the other, kind of had the attitude that he had to be there of he wanted a paycheck and that he rather be out doing anything else.

So I got a variety of donuts. I got them mainly for an office that treats me very well. I did get a couple for me. I love maple bars. I ate one on my way to deliver the others and was super excited to give them to the office staff. My maple bar was not fresh. So I tried a different one and it was stale as well. I looked in the box that I was giving away and they all looked stale as well. Im so bummed. Ive never had this issue with the Murray Daylight Donuts...

WORST donuts I have ever tasted! Smiths has better tasting donuts than this (And Smiths is my last choice for donuts). Tasteless, dry, overpriced maple bars. I should have just driven a little further and gone to Harmons, their donuts are fluffy and melt in your mouth, just like a maple bar should. So disappointed that a donut shop like this had such a slim selection at 9am, but Im not sure why, I wont be going there again.

They never have any donuts after 11 AM. The owner of this particular location / franchise is trying to save cost, but you cant just have "leftovers" and expect people pay you. A message to the owner, quit trying to run a business dry it only makes you look cheap and stingy. If you want a good Daylight Donuts experience go to the one in Murray. Always have donuts in stock with friendly service.

Clear Shield Auto Glass

This is our shops favorite old school donut shop. Their donuts just seem easier to eat than the likes of a Dunkin (Dunkins seem more cake like to us) while these guys taste like legit donuts. The staffs always been cool with us, the older gentleman (I guess the owner) always remembers us and thanks us for coming back each time. Just a good old school donut shop.

It was not impressive. It isnt terrible...but there were enough little things that made me want to write a review. The facility is bland and not clean. The doughnut I had was undercooked. The worker didnt wear gloves and rested all of our donuts on the glass counter which was not clean. In general, it isnt up to par with what you would expect in 2015.

Way over priced !!! 95 cents fo plain round donuts. 5 dry, stale "fancy" donuts should not cost 9 dollars. For the price i was expecting something wonderful but they ruined our morning. We threw them out and went somewhere else. So not worth what they charge, if your taste buds work do them a favor and go somewhere else.

Didnt realize how much I truly disliked this place until I found myself debating driving way out of my way in a snow storm to a different bakery just to avoid this one. The donuts are fine, but the customer service at this location is just plain awful. Hire some different employees and I may consider coming back.

I love their apple fritters. But every time I go in there they are completely out of donuts even at 11 AM. This morning I went in and got an apple fritter and it was raw in the middle. I went back to exchange it and all of the fritters were raw. This place has good donuts, it just needs better management.

The donuts are pretty good. Id go back for those. But the customer service I had today was terrible. The guy working acted like I was bugging him when I walked in. He ignored me for a phone call. Then forgot my order 2 seconds after I told him. Then they were out of coffee. That was the last straw.

Went to the Sandy location at 8:45 am and the doors were locked and the sign on the door said that all the donuts were sold out. What?! At 8:45. Im calling BS. Sound like a poorly managed and struggling franchise. Get your act together Daylight, its a freakin donut.

I felt like their service could be better and their card reader machine needs updated. It wouldnt read my cards. . . I bought half a dozen and only ended up eating half of one. They were all gone by the time I went back for more, so they must have been good!

I have been here several times. I have found the staff polite, focused, and knowledgeable. The donuts are quality, fresh product that is priced well. Sometimes they sell out of "my" donuts before I get there, but thats my fault.

Normally pretty good, but lately the quality has been going downhill. Lately their Bear Claws and Cinnamon Rolls have not been cooked all the way through, all doughy in the middle.

Good rasting donuts but the store needs to be cleaned. Going into the bathroom made me a little nervous on how the back area might look where the donuts are being made. Yuck!

This place is amazingly good and not a crummy, overpriced, over fancy/frosted "Beyond Glaze" type imitator. Thank heavens Utah finally has a classic and delicious donut shop!

The donuts were delicious! The cake donuts were moist and light and the apple fritter had a lot of apple and was also moist. Would definitely recommend.

Pleasant service, decent variety of donuts, and convenient location. Great place to stop and grab treats for my employees on short notice.
