I have had donuts all over the country and this place is by far the tastiest.... We arrived around 5 pm and the selection seemed a bit sparse ( not surprised about this since it was almost closing time... ) We chose a plain glazed, a frosted one with sprinkles, a chocolate croissant, a small bubble gum shake ( for the kid in me ) and a banana strawberry shake. The croissant definitely tasted not oh-so-fresh but thats to be expected at the end of the day when ordering pastries. The man ( the owner I assume? ) was about to start our shakes when he very politely asked if it would wake or disturb our sleeping baby ( we had our newborn and our 2 year old with us. ). We replied no and he started up the blender. Now let me tell you about the donut. It was more of an experience then your average Dunkin or Krispy Kreme indulgence. The donut was so light. We are talking might-float-right-out-of-your-hand-if-you-dont-eat-it-fast-enough light... It had the perfect about of glaze. It wasnt gooey and sticky. Perfect is the only way to describe it really. The taste? The taste was beyond delicious. It was a slightly sweet, slightly vanilla-y, subtly fried flavor that was just incredible. For it being so late in the day, it tasted as of it just floated out of heavens oven. Now let me share this with you. My husbands the donut lover, thus the trying of donuts anywhere we travel, not me. Im usually a bear claw kinda girl. Most donuts are dense and overly sweet, even for my sweet tooth but this place, this little golden donut, has surely stolen my heart. Not to mention the owners adorable kids were playing with my adorable kid and the pleasant way the whole family interacted with returning customers was a bit reminiscent of "the good ol days." If youre ever in the area, or even if youre not.... This is the place with the best service and the BEST donuts EVER in my book. Do yourself a favor and go support Golden Donuts. You will not be disappointed.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this donut shop!!! Hands down, they are the best in Customer Service! My kids and I go All the time. We REALLY LIKE their breakfast burrito with bacon. And the salsa they give you is an EXCELLENT compliment! When you become a Regular, they remember what you like. They are Good People. One day. The kids and I went to eat, the man ALWAYS greets us with a Smile. But this time, he didnt. The kids and I were confused??? Still dumdfounded, we sat down and waited for our burritos. Our conversations were less energetic than they usually were.....but, when our burritos were finished, the man brought us our burritos....he had a BIG SMILE, and even said, "Hello!"...Huh??? Hahaha, come to find out that the man has a TWIN brother we had not met yet! Wow, we were shocked! Then they both came out TOGETHER. When the kids and I were introduced to the Other twin, he now has a Smile on his face too! That completed our FANTASTIC BREAKFAST! Thank you!

If I could give this place a 10 star gold rating- I would! I called the day before to order 8 dozen donuts for pick up at 7:30am this morning. Not only were they all packaged when I arrived, the staff was THE BEST!! They were so sweet, and after ringing me up for the donuts, she asked me to wait a moment and came back up to the front with another 3 DOZEN donuts and said they were FREE due to my purchase!!! On top of that, she gave me two more free fresh hot donuts from the back and a free coffee. I really dont know what I did to deserve all of this free food, and since it never happens, I felt compelled to write this review for them. The staff was super sweet, helped me move all of the donuts into my car and did it with a genuine smile on their face. Support your local business and go get a donut at Golden Donut!!! They were amazing!!!!

Honestly, the doughnuts are fine, but the rest of the menu is a joke. Coffee is from the 1970s. Smoothies are from powder. The employees seem to hate making sandwiches and you have to beg them to actually fill your order. Like Charlie Brown with his football, I kept hoping for improvement. I gave them 5 different chances. Average wait time; 12 minutes, twice with only one other person in the store and once with none. You can hear and see the cook doing everything else but actually cooking your order. I have brought it up with different people a couple of times and the employees are incredibly dismissive. I dont mind waiting for quality or handmade items, its the absolute disrespect of a customers time that made me choose not to go back again.

I had a great experience overall at Golden Donuts. The staff are super friendly and they work very hard. They not only have amazing donuts, but they also have yummy sandwiches, smoothies, and tea. Until I went to Golden Donuts, I thought Bosa and Krispy Kreme was as good as donuts got but boy was wrong! I would definitely come here over Krispy Kreme or Bosa any day. The donuts are super fresh and dont leave a weird after taste or film in your mouth like the donuts at Bosa or Krispy Kreme do. I will definitely be returning.

When I first moved down to the area, we needed a new doughnut place. This is close to the hotel were staying at and we decided to try it out. The doughnuts are light and fluffy, like having a piece of heaven drop from the sky and seductively lick your taste buds. The prices are also low at 5 for half a dozen and 9 for a dozen, or 1 for a dozen doughnut holes. It is staffed by a single little lady, but she is so nice and friendly and frequently gives us extra doughnuts. Id give this place 6 stars if I could

I started coming here several months ago, they are very friendly and great employees! I stopped coming simply due to the fact I changed jobs and dont pass by here anymore, today I drove pass and stopped in to get a donut and the staff looked at me and said" Where have you been? Long time no see? " WOW.... I was very impressed they even remembered me. The food is always fresh and taste delicious!

Super sweet lady, makes the BEST milk tea with boba and green tea, and homemade ham and cheese filled breakfast croissants.. Yum!!! Her donuts are always fresh and big and sooo yummy!! Big fresh breakfast burritos. Always please support local business, and hard working families. She loves to please,her customers, wants them to be totally satisfied with purchase.

Tired of the cardboard that is Dunkin and Bosa, I began a quest to find a quality donut. I stumbled upon Golden Donuts and as the name suggests, the feeling was similar to unearthing long lost buried golden treasure. Donuts are fluffy fresh and glorious, quickly reminding me of what a great donut should embody. Well done Golden Donut. I shall return.

These donuts are really good! They are fresh and fluffy and the icing is thick. They do not have the heavy taste that some donuts have and they do not leave you feeling weighed down. They are light feeling. I bought one dozen of mixed donuts and everyone RAVED about them! Clean with friendly service.
