Until Chef Dominique Ansel opens a branch in Scottsdale, Cronuts at Local Bakery are no doubt the best in the valley. Their croissants are excellent too (sorry Merci). Its run by two siblings in a humble location that will find fame and success like other local favorites Sweet Republic, Little Miss BBQ, etc. Tip: Bring a box of these to your next business morning meeting to make it a memorable event, but make sure you have enough to go around.

The donuts here are excellent and while they have some of the more traditional donuts, its their "fancy donuts" you want to go to this place for. The service was friendly during my visit and their selection of coffee is surprisingly varied and greatly appreciated. There is only seating for about 10 people (5 tables) so that is the only thing to keep in mind if you plan on not doing takeout

Creme brûlée is possibly the best donut I have ever had in my entire life. My grandkids loved the fruity pebbles and my wife craves the red velvet. There is something for everyone. The owners are really nice and friendly and the shop is kept really clean. Even the coffee is good. Id say donut miss this place!

Beautiful selection. Super friendly staff. The young lady behind the counter helped me with my order as she could tell it was my first time here. Very fresh donuts, both traditional and fancy/classy selections. And a variety of fresh coffee. Id gladly walk the 1.5 miles there AND back for this hidden jewel.

The Local Donut is simply amazing and better than any other donut out there, including Voodoo Doughnut in Portland. Their specialty donuts are off the hook. I cant stop thinking about their creme brulee donut! If you love donuts, Local Donut is a "Must Try". You will be so happy that you did!

My wife and I planned on ordering 4 donuts, but ended up with 7. Once you walk in and see the display cases youll know why. Trust what people are saying and try the creme brûlée donut! We loved eating our donuts in the small shop and thought the employees were incredibly nice.

My favorite donuts in the Valley. They have a great mix of traditional donuts that taste excellent and more creative donuts that make my brain say "what?" and my stomach say "yes!". Throw in great prices and awesome people working and that is why I love this place.

The owners of Local Donut have been in the donut game for a while so they know whats up! There is a science to creating the perfect dough and cake which I think theyve nailed down. Compare it to other shops and youll know what I mean. Great job!

Its a hidden Gem! If you are like me and only eat donuts a few times every couple of months this is a great place to splurge. I do fear that this place will contribute to my inedible obesity problem. Its worth it though.

The donuts look incredible, no doubt they are amazing!!! However I just paid over $8 for 2 donuts and 12 Donut holes. Thats ridiculous! Try BOSA donuts down the street. Way better and 1/3 the price.
