I DO have a terrible sweet tooth, but donuts are something I could pass...not the Beyond Glaze donuts, though. I wasnt planning on writing a review, but after reading some saying that its just a regular donut with a ton of sugar and lard piled up on it, I had to say something to make it fair. The donuts themselves are very light, they dont sit in your stomach like a rock, they also dont give any aftertaste (regular donuts I can feel for hours once I eat them and its not a pleasant aftertaste either). The icing IS heavy on some, but lite on others. Having said that, all the flavors are made with real fruit and vegetables, high quality white and dark chocolate and/or cream-cheese - NOT just the sugar and lard, not your regular yucky store-bought icing. My favorites are raspberry-mango and cookies-and-cream (I used to get carrot cake, but, unfortunately, its been discontinued). The raspberry-mango is made with real raspberries and mangoes ground with sugar (I asked, because my Mom used to grind raspberries with sugar instead of making a preserve and Ive recognized the taste right away), not your artificial colors and flavors. Its very tasty and it can definitely be called gourmet. If you have finer taste in food, try this one - youll see the difference. P.S. Im rating this purely on quality of donuts, though all the girls working at the shop are super nice!

I visited the downtown Ogden store today around 11:00, at first I was the only customer in the store, the two pleasant girls who were running the place explained that they were having trouble with the cash register and asked if I would be patient because their manager was on the way to fix it. The girls took my order, apologized for my inconvience and I sat down to wait for help to arrive, more patrons entered the store and the girls were very helpful and let them know about the problems they were having, everyone was pleasant and agreed to wait. When the manager appeared finally, he did not speak to any of the customers, didnt thank us for waiting, nothing, no acknowledgement. Was very rude to the young girls, acted like stupid women. I was appalled that in this day and age of customer service he had none. Here is a person who needs to work on his people skills. If I ever visit this shop again it will be because of the girls running it, and the delicious donuts, not the zero personality manager.

Looks like I will be the lone bad review. My husband suggested we should try this place and we bought a half dozen to try a variety. I sampled three of them. The Red Velvet: the doughnut was very dry and the icing lacked a good cream cheese flavor. The Cherry Chocolate: again, a dry doughnut and the cherry flavor was very artificial, like a cough drop flavor. The Boston Creme: the filling had no flavor at all and again, the doughnut was dry but the chocolate frosting was fine. My husband tried three also. He said the Grasshopper had a weak chocolate frosting and the mint had an artificial flavor. The Citrus doughnut did not have a strong enough flavor. He did love the Maple Bacon. He said it was to die for. So, there you have it - I wont go back and my husband will only get the Maple Bacon next time.

Just stopped to pick up some Donuts for a friend and was very impressed with the Draper location. I was a long time customer at the Ogden location and was please with how clean and orderly the store was. My friend and I were served by Alexa and were blown away by how patient and helpful she was. My friend Alexa and I discussed our favorite flavor combination and we agreed that lemon blueberry would be amazing at which point she offered to put blueberry on top of my lemon orange! Ive literally got one of these six days a week as long as they were open in Ogden and this was the first time someone talked to me to see what Id like and go out if their way to make an already amazing product perfect for me. Kudos to you Alexa and Kudos to Beyond Glaze for hiring and training such great employees!

I was given a gift card of $25 to Beyond Glaze to try out their doughnuts. I drove 30 minutes to their store and was told that I would only get my $25 in gift card if I spent $25 on top of that in doughnuts. Are you kidding me!!?!? What kind of business does that? I dont want $50 in doughnuts. I want to use my gift card and if I like it come back regularly. Now I am going to make sure everyone I know avoids this place. I dropped the gift card on the counter and told them to throw it in the trash. What a joke.

The donuts here are soooo good! They have a ton of options and some are really interesting! Be aware, youre paying for their creativity! I picked up two dozen for my sons birthday party and it was a little over 40 dollars. I went in just after 1pm, and they were sold out of a lot of flavors. The girl helping me didnt let me know that she could make more of any of them until another customer asked...after mine were all boxed up. Oh well, guess Ill have to go back again! They really are good!

Need I say more... These doughnuts are BEYOND AMAZING!!! The doughnuts are done fresh in the store and the icing/toppings are DELICIOUS!! Yes they are a bit pricey $1.98 a doughnut or around $10 bucks for a half dozen, or $18 and change for a dozen. But like they say its GOURMET Doughnuts.. and the name BEYOND GLAZE says it all.. So for a special treat stop and dig into some yummy doughnuts.. I highly recommend them. My favorite I would have to say is the raspberry/mango yum...

This place is okay, but not the greatest. I tried the Smores doughnut, but there was way too much chocolate on it for it to actually be considered good. Honestly it was a little overwhelming. The actual doughnut tasted like it was frozen and then thawed out. Id rather go to Provo Bakery or Daylight Donuts, theyre way better and cheaper. These hip little bakeries charge you a lot for "gourmet", but that word is applied way too liberally for a place like this.

Would have been five stars except they have a stupid train bring you the box of donuts when they could have saved me 30 seconds and just handed me the box. Why the actual hell did you make a loud whistle go off in your store at 8:30 in the morning. Donuts are great. Ive been coming here for years, but the stupid train is the only reason Im not giving five stars. Maybe come at a time when theyre too busy to use it.

I"m handicapped so I was excited to learn on Channel 2 news that Beyond Glaze has a drive-thru at the Draper location. I pulled up today to the drive- thru. There was a menu box that said take a menu, but there where no menus in the box. So I pulled up to the storage shack which looks like the place where you place & pick-up your order. But nobody was in the shack. So I just drove home. Am I doing it wrong?
