I would not recommend Gunnies to anyone. I went there regarding an add they had for a rifle. The ad had the item listed for $1099 which was a sweet deal for that specific rifle. I went there to look at it and when I got there, after waiting 20 minutes or so to be helped, asked them if I could see the rifle in the ad. They brought me it, but it was priced at $1699. I asked for the rifle that was $1099 and they brought out a completely stripped version of the rifle. It was not what the ad showed. Big false advertising on their part. A few months later I ordered a lower receiver for a rifle and had it shipped to Gunnies. I was unable to pickup the receiver since I am 18 and was unaware of the laws regarding receivers (21 or older). Okay thats my fault. I talked with them for awhile trying to figure out a way I could get the receiver. I asked if I brought them all the other parts to build the rifle if they would build it for me then sign it over as a long gun. They said they couldnt do this. I later contacted four other FFLs and they all said they could have done that. I called Rainier Arms, who I purchased the lower receiver from and asked what could be done. They said they would call Gunnies and try to figure it out. It took Gunnies five days to even return Rainier Arms calls. I told Rainier I would just have them ship it back, at this point I didnt want Gunnies to have my business. I called Gunnies to pay for the shipping. It was $30 and they shipped it as a long gun. Why are you shipping it as a long gun when you wont sell it to me as a long gun? The day after I payed for shipping I call to get a tracking number. I sit in hold for 20 minutes and begin to think no one will answer. I hang up, call back and after telling the guy that I sat on hold for 20 minutes he apologized and said the gun counter is clear and they should be right with you. He transfered me over and I then sit on hold for another 10 minutes. They finally pick up and I tell them about the package and I want the tracking number. Im transfered two more times before I can finally get someone to answer the simplest request. They tell me that it hasnt been boxed and it will ship out tomorrow (Friday) two days after I call and pay for shipping. I call back the following Monday to get the tracking number. I sit on hold for 30 minutes before somebody picks up. I get transfered three times until somebody can answer my question. The guy on the line tells me hell get it and hangs up on me. I call back immediately and sit on hold for 10 minutes before he can get my email to send me the tracking number. I finally get the number after wasting so much time on such a simple request. They dont actually ship the item until Tuesday, when they told me it would be Friday. $30 for shipping paid for almost a week ago and they barely ship it. Get it together Gunnies. All in all Gunnies is the worst store I have ever dealt with. Their customer service is truly terrible. I wont ever go there again, regardless of the sales they are having. The time I waste trying to be helped isnt worth saving the little bit of money. I would highly recommend going elsewhere for any shooting needs.

If I could rate lower than one star, I would. First thing when walking through the door I saw teenage girls running the registers that couldnt even look up from their phones for long enough to exchange pleasantries. I then decided to take a look at their clothing because I needed some new wranglers. I obviously needed help and after looking myself for at least 35 minutes, I finally got one of the clothing section employees to come over after asking them (they were also playing on their smartphone) just to find out that their jeans were priced a solid 30$ more than the exact same pair at CAL ranch or Tractor supply. Then I decided to go to the gun counter. Their prices on ammunition were way out of line (1.35 $ a round for full metal jacket 308) so I decided to just skip over it and look at guns. "Hey, maybe they make up for it on the guns. their name IS GUNnies after all." I thought Wrong. I bellied up to the counter and looked at their selection. All their sales reps were gathered at one end bullsh*tting with an older man and his son who were obviously not even looking at purchasing anything, but just friends showing hunting pictures. They didnt even have a gun out to look at. I noticed a heckler and koch 308 rifle I had been looking into on the internet for a while, and seeing as I had just flipped a car earlier that day I had about 5,000$ cash In my pocket burning a hole. So, I quite loudly inquired about it to which I got no response. About a minute later I asked about it again, to which everyone went silent and shot me a dirty look until one rep finally begrudgingly came over and asked what I needed. I then repeated for the third time the rifle that i wanted to see. He got it from the rack, checked the chamber, and sat it on the table by the but and wouldnt let go of it. I reached for it twice, to which he moved it both times all while listing off the manufacturers specs that I had already read a dozen times and iterating to me multiple times over how "this is a really expensive gun". He then finished his rehearsed speech, said "neat gun, isnt it?" re-racked it without letting me so much as shoulder it, and promptly walked back to the group at the end of the table chatting. I have an extensive firearms collection totalling over 250 pieces of everything from antiques to class 3 weapons and can honestly say this was easily the worst gun "shop" I have ever been to. I would recommend this place to absolutely no one.

Bought a rifle from them online for about $20 more than they sell it for in store because the description of the gun stated that it came with a scope. The exact wording online was, "Scope Included." That kind of simple wording is pretty hard to misconstrue. I had called in to the store and spoken with someone to double check that the rifle didnt come with a scope in the store. The employee on the phone confirmed that no scope came with the gun in the store, to which I replied that I would then make my purchase online so as to get the rifle and the scope in one for a slightly higher price (the employee at that time said nothing about a scope not being included despite what I told them over the phone). I even took a picture of the posting to show to a friend of mine who also believed it to mean that a scope came along with the firearm. I made my purchase and after over two weeks of waiting I went in to pick up my gun. Well when I brought it home to open it, there was no scope. I immediately called the store and was told that this model of gun never comes with a scope. I asked why they had falsely advertised this product as having a scope and the best answer they could give me was, "I dont know." I was then told I could get a refund or 10% off a scope in store. The problem is, 10% off a scope for this kind of gun would only maybe pay off the $20 extra I paid by ordering online instead of in store. Also, I had to wait over two weeks to get this gun and I wasnt about to hand it back to them. Bottom line is, I have come into this store many times and I have honestly tried to like it but all I have ever seen is subpar customer service and a lack of ethical business practices. Im sure the listing was a mistake, but that mistake shouldnt cost me money. It should cost the person who made the mistake. Apparently the mistake I made was choosing Gunnies. Its Sportsmans Warehouse and Ready Gunner for me from here on out. Ive never had a single problem there. Update: I received a message from a Gunnies employee wanting more information on my situation but was unable to reach them when I called back. Resolution of this problem is still pending.
