I never knew that buying shoes could be a great experience. When I need shoes again, Ill be going to Tradehome first. After spending a couple days getting the runaround at various other shoe and department stores, Tradehome got right to the point. Instead of wandering up and down aisles of shoes, everything the store has to offer is visible all at once, displayed on the walls. The layout of the store lends itself to more meaningful customer-employee interaction. The display shoes on the walls are like a catalog, and I asked for a particular size of a shoe that I like. Kenny, the store owner, brought it out to me, laced it if needed, and even helped me put it on. When I was considering between multiple shoes, he offered the pros and cons of each, and some of the history of the shoe brand when it was relevant. He really knows his stuff, and he was always courteous and genuine, concerned more with my experience than making a sale.
