I REALLY like famous footwear, which is why its so important that I write a negative review for this location. FF needs to know about them and fix the problem - whether through hiring more people, training employees better, or changing management at the Tempe Marketplace location. I called to have them find 2 particular shoes and put them on hold for me. Since online stated there were only 2 pairs left each, I really wanted to have them held for me. The guy answering the phone was really short and matter-of-fact. He said he had people waiting to purchase items so "youll have to wait". I kindly said that was fine. The timer on my phone reads 33 minutes... and counting. STILL on hold and havent had a live voice since that very curt conversation over a half hour ago. What a disappointment! I hope they dont treat all customers this way. Theyre liable to lose a few if they keep it up. Whats the point of providing a location and phone number online when using the "find it at a Famous Footwear store" button if theres not going to be anyone available or willing to help you verify stock and place something on hold?! I live 25 minutes away, so I suppose by now I could have driven to the store, found the shoes, and be in line for checkout or in my car on my way home! 37 minutes and counting now...

I recently purchased black Nike shoes. I had the pleasure of being assisted by Gina accociate 170478... I have to say it was exceptional customer service she truly went above and beyond. When my size was not found out on the floor she stopped the task she was focused on and quickly looked up the item and went to the back to get my size, even though I wasnt sure if I was going to purchase them. Also she was very engaging and asked open ened questions to find out what I would be using the shoes for. (Work) so she suggested the insoles for better support and comfort. But I didnt feel pressured, at any point while I was shopping.... So I most definitely would recommend shopping at this location and if you happen to work with Gina Im sure you will walk out of there with happy feet!
