I dropped by this location on 10/8/2015 with a very slow leaking tire to get repaired. Turns out I ran over a staple, which must have happened around the beginning of August. However, the representative told me that he could not fix the tire and I would have to buy a new tire because "the holes are too close together and the patches would overlap." I told him to show me the tire; indeed, it did have two pin-sized holes close together. I asked the representative if he could put a bigger patch on the tire. He said he could not do that and I would have to buy a new tire ("no used tires in stock" he said). By now the manager, Rob showed up. I told him and Rob to put the old tire back on and Rob refused saying, "Its a danger and I cannot allow you to do that." I told him that I wanted a second opinion and I was just going to just drive down the road with it. Rob still refused. Rob offered to put my spare tire on. So, I opted to do that; while I was moving my items that I had in the trunk to the back seat of my car Rob offered to give me a discontinued tire (brand new) for free. I opted for that and I kept the tire that "couldnt be fixed." I took the tire with the two pin-sized holes to a local tire shop in Ogden, they put a large patch on it, and put the tire back on my car. As of 10/22/15 the repaired tire has not had any leaks nor has there been any decrease in pressure since the repaired tire was put back on. I called their bluff; so, I am giving this a one star because the shenanigans pulled on me was outright fraud committed by the employees at this location.

Rusty was AMAZING! I had borrowed my dads boat for the weekend and my dad told me it needed a tire replaced. I am new to the whole towing thing. So I was very nervous to try and get this boat into their parking lot. Since it was an unexpected repair, I had my kids and dog in the car. I parked across the parking lot, walked into the store where I was greeted by Rusty. I explained the situation and he was more than happy to help. He came out and assessed all of the tires and he agreed that I only needed the one replaced. He knew I was nervous to pull into the parking lot so he moved it himself. He told me the wait was going to be an hour and he could see the disappointment on my face since my dog was in the car, I didnt want to leave the truck running for that long... He happily changed my tire himself and I was out of there in 20 minutes. Needless to say, he turned a stressful situation for me into a great experience and I would highly recommend discount tires to my friends and family! In fact, my sister went there a week later and told me what a great experience she had with Rusty... I told her he was the same awesome guy that helped me! Thank Rusty!

What a fantastic experience! This was by far the best experience in any store I have ever been in period. I have been a long term customer of another big name tire store and found my last experience a little less than desirable. Well, Im thankful for that experience, because my loyalty no lies with Discount Tire due to their phenomenal service. Curtis was absolutely amazing to deal with and was up front, honest and very kind throughout. I am a terrible price negotiator and I am unwilling to be dishonest to save a few bucks. I let him know what my budget was and he completely met my reasonable budget without hesitation. At my other tire store, this was always met with lowering the price of the tires while upselling me on something else. Seriously, what a well managed shop and excellent customer service. Id like to thank Pete as well for being so friendly and helpful on the phone as well. It is this type of service that gains life long customers. I believe I saw that Sam was the manager of this location. Whatever you are doing, please keep it up and Ill be back every season. Thank you!

Discount Tire in Draper is absolutely excellent!! Sam, the store manager, is a pleasure to work with and his employees are also very helpful. I had 2 tires on an older vehicle that had worn unevenly due to an alignment problem, but they were willing to sell me 2 new tires at about 1/2 price which was absolutely fantastic! I was buying tires for a newer vehicle, and found a really low price from an online store but they were willing to match that price, no problem! They do try to sell the additional tire warranty, but I always politely decline. They are always prompt and courteous with their service. I did have a problem once with a lug nut they had tightened too much, and when I was removing the tire it sheared off the lug. But they sent me to another repair shop and paid for the repair. It was somewhat of an inconvenience (hence I lowered their "quality" rating one notch), but they still took care of it, no questions asked. Discount Tire is by far the best place to buy tires locally, no doubt!

Things were going well until I called in and the tires I ordered werent available when they said they would be. Then when I arrived to install an acceptable equivalent tire, they had neglected to tell me that I could set an appointment. This is my first time buying tires at Discount tire. In between my first call and the time I arrived, they scheduled 10 other cars. This was after I said that I was on my way. I have been waiting for over 90 minutes and my car still hasnt been in the shop. Instead of letting me know that it was going to take longer, I sat and watched as a half dozen or more customers walked in and were taken care of ahead of me. Now I am going to be late for an appointment because I believed them when they said it would take about an hour to get me tires installed. This is not a good first impression.

Thoroughly impressed by these guys! I had a flat tire on my 2016 Jetta SE on Thursday, and made the mistake of taking it to VW Southtowne service first. They quoted me $210 for a Bridgestone Ecopia EP422 plus 16" tire (before labor), and said they wouldnt have it for another 3 days. I said "No thanks", looked up the highest reviewed tire place near me and found this Discount Tire. I called Friday at about 5:30pm and asked about price and availability of the tire I needed, they said they could have it by the next morning ~11am and the cost with labor would be $144. Not only did they have the tire when promised, the install took less than an hour and the final price with labor and road hazard warranty was about $30 less than they quoted me over the phone. I will absolutely come back here and recommend them to anyone

Awful. Please save yourself the frustration and go somewhere with people that like their jobs. Curtis "helped me" when he was not to busy saying things like "Whatever" and "your going to hate that tire". I have bought 4 sets of tires from them that I can remember so I can not believe how bad it is there now. Disrespectful does not do it justice. I was still going to buy them but then after 4.5 hours when I came back (they told me 3) and my car had not moved I knew it was a sign. Cancelled my order and took my keys back. You just have to vote with your money. I wish I could say that was the end but I overheard one lady saying they put the wrong tires on and another saying her car was not ready either well after they had promised it.
