I am not in SLC or else I might volunteer to help you with the complexities of a vacuum cleaner. My thought is and I am guessing one or two might agree (that is called a ma⋅jor⋅i⋅ty), you should try one of several Dollar stores in the area. They sell an item called a BROOM and for an additional dollar, you can get another device called a DUST PAN. Should the combination of these two items also be overwhelming, they do offer a refund as long as you keep your receipt. Finally, and on a safety note. I hope when you are out shopping, you are riding a bus. I am not sure I could sleep at night knowing you are on the streets of SLC, struggling to operate a bicycle or motor vehicle.

David, the DI does not accept returns EXCEPT for clothing (which must have the original DI tags on them, accompanied by the sales receipt). Please do not give out incorrect information; itll just make things harder for the DI, when people read what you say and then attempt to return an item.

There are quite a few good deals here. We bought a 5 dresser for 80 dollars! It was in mint condition! You have to look quite often though coz the good stuff gets bought in a blink of an eye. Most of their staff looks like they hate their job.

THEY SALE THINGS MORE EXPENSIVE THEN THEY ARE NEW. I DONATED SOME SHOES AND CLOTHES AND THEY WERE SELLING THEM FOR ALMOST THE SAME PRICE THAT I BOUGHT THEM FOR, I THINK ITS BETTER TO GO TO SOME GARAGE SALE OR YARD SALE IS CHEAPER!!!!!!

Decent variety of items, but some of the customer service reps can be somewhat unpleasant at times. Having said that, if youre looking for a bargain on clothes or home furnishing then this is the place.

Overall a good thrift store. You can score some good finds. I once got a victorianox jacket brand new with the tag on saying it was 250.00 it was priced at 5. I was pretty happy about it.

Those items seem to come from donation. Those people dont seem to care about the price. They just want to sell it. So you can easily find extremely cheap stuffs there.

"Good Samaritans" Love to drop off stuff after 10 pm. Our homeless love to go through it and we all get to enjoy it the next day strewn throughout our community.

Cheap, cheap, cheap. In all senses of the world, both good and bad. It sort of feels grungy, too.
