After identifying the truck I would like more information about on AutoTrader, I contacted Chariot Auto Sales and began asking questions. This was all via email and I have the email thread to show the questions and answers. In my email dated April 21st, 2015 I asked specifically if the truck had been crashed and if there were any electrical issues. The response from the owner of Chariot later that day was "Auto check shows no accidents and im not seeing any sign of one." He did disclose the passenger side running board was not working, but that was it. "All electrical works." I drove 500 miles and purchased the truck April 27th. On May 8th, after the driver side power running board stopped working correctly as well as the back-up camera (keep in mind he also said "All electrical works"), I went to the owners manual to see if I could do anything about the issues. I opened up the pouch in the glove-box and one of the first things I pulled out was an invoice from Cam Clark Collision Center for front end damage in the amount of $3,199.41. In addition, there was an insurance claim # on the invoice so I know that it was reported. At this point it was obvious he lied about the condition of this truck to sell it. In a matter of two weeks Ive had two significant electrical issues and discovered the truck had indeed been crashed. The damage from the crash cannot be determined. I can only assume I was lied to about other aspects of this deal as well, as issues seem to be arising at an increasing rate. I sent an email to the owner of Chariot the day I discovered all of this as well as a picture message to his phone of the repair invoice. That was May 8th and today, May 11th, I still have not heard anything from him. He was very quick to respond to my emails when I was buying. I am very disappointed that I was lied to and after attempting to open up communication with him over this issue, was ignored.

This review is loooooong overdue!! I should have written this within a couple of months after the purchase. I purchased my 2013 Ford F150 last March from Chariot Auto Sales and I have NOTHING bad to say about my purchase and more specifically about the people who work there. I will be honest I was very nervous about buying a 30 thousand plus dollar truck online and trading my truck in for it. I talked to Jason (the owner) on the phone on more than one occasion and he helped set my mind at ease. He was very patient, and helpful in addressing all my concerns about the online purchase. Once I finally committed to purchasing the truck the rest went as smooth as the beginning. I met Eddie in my town (whom works there as well and he too was a really good guy) with the new truck, when I saw the truck for the first time it was everything they described, it looked great and run wonderfully. From there Eddie took care of the paperwork for the trade in and the purchase. He then drove away, it really was just that easy. They are a company that I will differently look at for my next truck. Bottom line, they treated me well, no snags and they are good people, and they run a good business.

As the other reviews say, once I bought the car, about a month after owning it I had dash light, after dash light, after dash light. They say all electrical works, and that theyre excellent to deal with. Not so much. Just be careful and do ALL your research if youre buying a car from these guys. Make sure you have a trusted mechanic do a full diagnostic on the vehicle. Itll be worth it in the long run. One other thing, when things start to go wrong theyre like, "whaaaaat?" Not a good experience in the long run. Oh, to all these reviews that say "nice people" etc. theyre used car dealers, of course theyre nice... up-front. You take the risk when buying from Chariot Auto. I often wonder if the good reviews are just their friends... Maybe?

We saw a truck we were interested in, spoke to sales and explained we noticed an issue with the dash lights. We were told they would get it taken care of and we came to an agreement on price. We were told that they would send it in to be looked at and give us a call the following day. We didnt here anything so we called and found out that the repair shop that they work with was not open and that they would call us back on Monday. Today being Monday we find out they sold the truck only because yet again they were suppose to call and didnt so we called and found out not only did they sell the truck we had made arrangements to purchase after repaired but also that they sold it knowing it had a issue. Very shady .....

I recently drove from Carson City, NV to Chariot Auto Sales in Clearfield, Utah to look at a car that I had a serious interest in. Jason, the owner, helped me from the very beginning with information on the car, negotiated price and potential pre-sale maintenance and held the car for me to be able to plan 18 hours of round trip driving to go inspect. Unfortunately, the car we were looking at wasnt quite the car we were looking for. I cant give Jason enough credit for his willingness to help, and if it werent so far away Id be stalking his website to keep an eye out for another chance to work with him again.

Came across chariot auto online and fell in love with a car I noticed on their website so I drove an hour away to check it out and everything seemed normal there was a small problem with the air conditioner which was taken care of. Anyway 2 months after spending close to 11k in cash for my new beauty she just about breaks down. the engine light came on followed by every other light you can think of. Now I might just be putting more into fixing this car than I should have to this soon. To sum it up not a good experience in the long run.

I have known Jason for a long time and he is a very honest person. I always refer my friends and family to Chariot Auto Sales. Their cars are top of the line and always well taken care of, every car receives a complete vehicle inspection and anything that needs to be fix, it gets taken care of before it comes through their sales floor. If you have a concern they make sure to deal with it to make you happy. I look forward to my next car purchase with them.

Stopped at the car lot on a whim. They had nice vehichels to choose form and no pressure. We were able to look at the cars we liked. Also they did not bait and switch you on the price. They were honest and fair. The car has been great. I locked my keys in the car a week after buying and they came out and opened my doors, no questions asked. Very happy will buy there again.

Amazing customer service! Jason is very easy to work with, straight to the point and efficient. Our purchase process was already half way done before we got to the lot. Once we decided on the vehicle (Hummer H3) under 25 min and we became owners of a new for us family vehicle. Most definitely recommended!
