Im not sure if I had an atypical bad experience, or if most of these people are being paid to give 5 star reviews. SMC received a vehicle from a trade and listed it for sale on their lot. It was a unique vehicle that I was interested in specifically. I set up an appointment to inspect the vehicle and everything went smoothly until the negotiating began. They even let me disassemble some of the engine accessories in the lot to make sure they were in good shape. When we sat down to talk about price the salesman tried to get me to sign a price agreement right off the bat. I told him I wouldnt pay anywhere near what they were asking since there were a few large issues with the vehicle. I gave my offer and the salesman literally laughed at me and said no way. I explained my position and he went to get a "manager". The manager brought a vehicle valuation that was $1500 over the blue book value of the vehicle, so I crossed off the 4 or 5 features they had in the valuation that the vehicle did not have (I must look really stupid?). I then explained how I came up with my offer (blue book fair value minus the items that needed repair) and the manager continued to try to up the price, even telling me that they were "losing money" on the deal and he had to get approval from the owner to continue with the deal (really?). We finally came to an agreement that included them fixing a few things and I would pay a higher price. I knew they were getting the better end of the deal, but again, it was a unique vehicle so I caved. I also had pre-approval to finance the vehicle, but they insisted they could get the same terms with their own lender, fine by me. I signed all the paperwork and asked when the work would be done and they said the following Monday, which seemed fast. I live in northern AZ so I had to drive a good distance to pick up the vehicle. I arrive on Monday only to find out the vehicle isnt ready, they havent even ordered the parts, and they "didnt know" I was going to be picking it up. Another manager agreed to give me a loaner to drive home and they would deliver my vehicle when it was done, great! A few days later I get a call from them saying they cant get the parts they need to fix the vehicle for about two weeks, so I jump online and order them myself and have them shipped to SMC 2-day and told them to order the ones they found and ship them to me (I needed them myself anyway). The next day I get a call from the finance department stating that they cannot finance the vehicle for the rate I requested and that they never said they could get the same terms I walked in with. Why would I agree to worse terms?! After ripping them a new one over the phone they tell me theyll see what they can do. They call back the next day with the terms they had originally agreed to, surprise surprise. I finally get the call that the vehicle is ready and they will be dropping it off the next day. They drop it off and Im just glad to be done with the whole situation. I drive it home the first day and find that it is missing the radio antenna, has two blown light bulbs and is making a sound like a bad wheel bearing, none of which was apparent when I inspected it. Im a hands-on guy and I was completely fed up with dealing with these incompetents so I said screw it and fixed everything myself. While repairing what seemed to be wrong I found a couple other things they conveniently forgot to mention prior to the sale. $1500 later I have the vehicle I should have had upon delivery. SMC has only their own best interest in mind and doesnt seem to care if the customer even leaves the lot in a vehicle that is safe to drive. They lie and use deceiving tactics to take advantage of customers and I believe they hid problems with the vehicle that they knew about during the sale. Do your research and show up prepared to defend yourself against their condescending sales people and "managers". I only give them 2 stars because they were able to repair what they said they would and were finally able to get the terms they agreed to in the first place.

Where to begin.... if I could give no stars I would... First off, the Sullivans along with their staff are thieves. No better than the kind of thief who would burglarize your parents home and steal all of your mothers jewelry. Then sell it all for a couple hundred and something to shoot. With no morals or dignity they teach their staff to be the same. In May of 2016 I bought what seemed like a deal on a used, manual, Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with a 4" lift 35" tires and 20" rims for 34,999. Its also a soft top with no upgraded stereo. It was missing the tweeters (which I didnt find out till 2 weeks later when I removed the dust cover), the tires were literally almost bald and was previously gutted hence the prewired setup for a subwoofer. The salesman said lets try and make a deal if I can get you some newer tires... "sure" I said thinking I could come to a decent agreement. I was very aggressively pressured into making a deal that I still got shorted on. I came out on the deal at 31,999 with tax, title, license. AS LONG AS I HAD THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT WITHIN THE NEXT WEEK LOOK AT THE TIRES AND REPLACE THEM. Long story short all these people arent lying about the vehicles they were pressured into buying breaking down shortly after the purchase or needing thousands of dollars in parts or labor. The bull warranty that is completely and utterly terrible and useless that wont save you either. They dont ever want to see that car come back thats what that warranty is there for. NOT to look out for YOU. For them... so they can lie to your face when you sign full of empty promises... I had to replace the tires because the "warranty" ran out..... $2000, Toyo tires New front end suspension (Drag Link, track bar, tie rod) $2000, Teraflex system OH! FORGOT THE FRONT SHOCKS WERE DEPRIVED OF OIL! WHOOPS! $400, Bilstein STEERING STABILIZER $200, Bilstein OH YEAH! new BATTERY in August $100 ***REMINDER*** ***DO THE MATH ON WHAT I CAME OUT OF THE PURCHASE AT TO THE ASKING PRICE AND WHAT I HAD TO BUY DOWN THE ROAD*** PEOPLE this is the only used vehicle Ive ever bought and will ever buy. DONT GO HERE. EVERYONE HERE IS NO BETTER THAN THE CROOK WHO WOULD STEAL FROM YOUR MOTHER FOR DOPE.

Got an 07 Jeep Wrangler from Sullivan about a year back, never got to doing a review, so, here I am now. First off, love the Jeep which is the only reason I gave it 2 stars, but it had issues from the get-go that the dealership never touched on or even knew about I imagine. The first, was a terrible wheel alignment, though they recognized and fixed it, even if by removing the performance Fox steering stabilizer and putting a crappy stock one on. Unbeknownst to me, till of recent, the Jeep had a total of 5 open recalls, 2 of which were safety and had to do with the deployment of the airbag. Im no car mechanic, but I imagine thats damned important. They sold the Jeep with these recalls, clearly having no intention of fixing them beforehand. Third, the Zurich vehicle warranty they sold me along with the Jeep only covers stock vehicles. The Jeeps sold here are most CERTAINLY NOT stock, for the most part. Within a few months, I had to have the front driveshaft repaired because the lift on the Jeep had caused it rub directly into the transfer case, shredding the gears inside, which to me meant an incorrect installation of the lift or general ignorance. To have it repaired with them would have taken 2 weeks, so I went to a local mechanic shop who managed to work (bend the truth) with Zurich and get the Jeep fixed. Im having the Jeep currently serviced at a Chrysler Jeep Dodge dealership to have the 5 open recalls completed and at the same time, a whole bunch of maintenance issues Sullivan itself had failed to do prior to selling it. Save yourself the trouble which will likely come your way in the future if you buy from here, and take your business elsewhere. UPDATE: Getting around to the vehicles routine maintenance. Differential oil was the first and Im heavily disappointed. I doubt any maintenance was ever done on the Jeep, as the oil was murky, full of metallic shards, and a huge gob of it stuck to the bottom magnet. This tells me there wasnt any kind of professional inspection, and Im well within the 15,000 mile mark. I probably sound ignorant, but Id expect a dealership thats selling vehicles at all, especially if theyve been modified, would have all of these things checked and serviced.
