So my fuel pump went out on my Sonata just before Christmas you know when your way busy running around from store to store. I live in Farr West so I call Westland to get it in and have it fixed under warranty. (28,000 miles) They get me an appointment right away and say it will be about 5 days to get the part and replace it, I ask them if I can get a loaner car. The service guy asks me if I had bought the car from them. I said no I bought it from a lot St George and he said then we can’t loan you one.. I’m like What?? You’re a Hyundai Dealer aren’t you? Yes, but we only loan cars to people that purchased from us. I was dazed and confused I have always been able to get a loaner car from any other dealer no matter where I bought it. GMC, Dodge, Ford and Toyota to name a few. I asked to talk to the service manager guess what he is the service manager… So I asked to be transferred to the store manager and he willingly did. I was on hold for 8 minutes I’m sure so he could explain what we had talked about to the Manager. The manager gets on the phone I explain that we can’t be without a car during the Christmas rush. He said he was sorry but they were all out of loaner cars. Wait a minute the service manager said I couldn’t get one because I didn’t buy the car from you.. Oh no that’s not what he said you must have misunderstood him we just don’t have any to loan out right now… We went back and forth a little and I told them to forget it I will take my car to Murdock Hyundai in Logan. I gave them a call they sent a tow truck we followed it up there and drove home a loaner car.. IF I ever buy another Hyundai it will be from Murdock Hyundai in Logan Utah. Great people Great Service and awesome to work with!! So while a lot of reviews talk about low price and nice sales staff lets hope they don’t need any service or recall work done because these people are terrible to work with. Oh wait I guess if you buy from them they treat you better. So much for team players Hyundai should dump them but what else would you expect it’s a “Westland” company. (Should have started this review with that) Go to Logan worth the extra time and miles.

So my husband and I were looking for a new car since we both had new full time jobs for the first time and could no longer share one car. We searched around and knew we wanted a Hyundai Accent GS. At first I went to Westland Hyundai. They had a 2012 Accent the price I wanted but when it came down to the financing they couldnt do it for me. I waited at the dealership for 3 hours went to the bank to see if I could help things along myself and went back again to no avail. My credit isnt perfect and Im only 22 so its also fairly new so I knew I couldnt get a really expensive car but I knew I could get something even if it was a higher interest rate. They told me they would see what they could do and get back to me the next morning. The next day came and I got a call from the salesman I had been working with and he said he didnt think that he could get me the Accent but that I should come down and check out a USED Ford Fiesta with 50,000mls for only a $1000 difference from the NEW Accent. I told him no, I want a Accent and if he could find me a manual that would be cheaper then I would still do busy with him but otherwise I would try something else. He did find a manual for me but it wasnt much cheaper and he tried again to get the financing done for me but couldnt AGAIN! He text me, yes, text me that I should go and talk to my bank again to see if they would work with me because he couldnt make it happen. It was at this time I looked up other dealers and saw KenGarff had a 2013 Hyundai Accent GS for around the same price, plus it had optional discounts if I qualified. I called them up and told them I wanted to see if they could get it for me. It took a couple phone calls with getting info back and forth but after a sort time he said I qualified for the discounts and that he could get me the car for what I wanted. My husband and I drove down there and were taken care of in less that than an hour and we drove away in our new car that night! I will never go back to Westland, especially after later finding out about how they tried to screw over my cousin as well! Dont waist your time with them!

These people are crooks, rude and unprofessional!! We came in with a trade in they had us fill out a paper to find out our 10 day pay off. I filled out all of my husbands information EXCEPT for his social security number the guy said he didnt need it to get us a trade in value on our car. They came back and offered us $5000 so I said no way we would accept that so he said ill talk to the boss and see if we might be able to get you $5800- $6000 then Ill give you a call back and let you know. Before we walked out we said we didnt want my husbands credit ran he said I dont even have his social security number and I dont need it for this anyways.... as we were leaving he said if we cant get enough for your trade in and you do have a left over balance on your loan it may be easier to get yall into a newer car than a used because of all the rebates so he showed us their loaner car and said he might be able to hide some of our negative equity on our car with all the rebates and money they could take off of the car because it was a loaner so we said ok thanks let us know what you could get us for that car after all the discounts, he said hed be in touch, then we left. Never got a call back, tried numerous times to get ahold of the salesman and he wasnt reachable... come to find out they ran my husbands credit and I have no idea how without the social but I seen online that they can pull it just by the info on your license!!! They have been nothing but rude since they decided they couldnt get us in one of their cars the last guy I spoke to said "if you think weve done something illegal call the cops" with a smart ass attitude... theyre trying to say that I gave them my husbands social and I know damn well I didnt...

This is a letter sent to the general manager of Westland Ford. I cannot force anyone to not take their business anywhere but when a parts manager gets away with cussing out people who are trying to service their account, well I personally will not patronize nor recommend such a business. Please share this if you see fit Sir, Im sorry to inform you that your employee Duff Leger has no professionalism and has guaranteed that you will not gain my patronage nor anyone I come into contact with. He has the audacity to say unprofessional and profane things about personnel that are trying to service your commercial parts needs, if I was the commercial account manager I would cancel your account. As it is, being a veteran and a member of the american legion and also having friends in other military affiliated organizations, it will be made publicly known the type of managers and employees you have associated with your company. Being in the military for 20 years and also being in customer service, including auto sales, for the last ten years, this type of behavior is intolerable and I would expect termination for this type of unprofessional behavior.
