Worst ring buying experience ever! We had been there for maybe two minutes when they sat us down and forced us to talk about how we were going to pay for the ring when we hadnt even looked at rings yet. The sales associate that was "helping us" was Shaun Corwin. He was extremely pushy and arrogant, I found a ring that I liked but he kept insisting we look at other rings that were even more expensive. When we told him we were going to look around at more stores he really blew up and told us that "he knows how this goes down because hes been doing this for years" and that we were "walking away from the best deal youll ever see." The next place we went was a fraction of the price, with 10 times the quality and customer service. We will never shop at Fred Meyer Jewelers again, and we recommend you dont either!

Deceptive and poor service! I went there in January 2014 to get my ring resized. A middle aged salesman said he would do it for free, and took my ring into the back room. When he came out he said, "Did you know your ring was cracked?" He showed it to me and it had 3 LARGE cracks in it. I know for a fact that it wasnt cracked before I took it in. They charged me to repair the cracks and resize it. When I picked it up it was still too small. Then they wanted to charge me again to resize it larger. The salesman there seemed insincere. He tried to smooth things over by pointing out how shiny the ring was. (All jewelers polish rings when they resize them.) I left very dissatisfied, and took it to another jeweler.

Worst ring buying experience ever. If I could give Fred Meyer Jewelers negative stars, I would! The man that was "assisting" us cared more about how we were buying the ring rather than finding the perfect diamond for my sweetheart. I feel this store is a complete joke, the sales associate was trying to force us to get a ring that was on the "clearance rack". He was pushy, arrogant, and completely rude. If you want a really awesome ring buying experience go to Shanco instead! I promise you youll get a better experience anywhere but Fred Meyer.

Its really unfortunate when one sales rep ruins the whole experience. Honestly, Ive dealt with pushy sales people in EVERY jewelry store (and Ive been to them all). What kept me coming back to Fred Meyer Jewelers was the sales rep that WASNT pushy. I made a point to tell them that AND the manager. Yes, at the time, there was a gentleman there that WAS pushy, I just stayed away from him. If you go to the Bountiful location, make sure you speak with Andrea. Your experience will be a great one.

These guys are a class act. I collect wristwatches, and when I need a band resized, this is where I always go. $10 and the staff is very professional, and they know what they are doing. On a couple of occassions, I tried to hand the guy my credit card and he said "nah, Ill just take a handshake." Simply awesome. They definitely have my business for anything jewelry related.
