I was going on a business trip this week and requested a refill on the previous Friday for pickup on Monday-- they sent me an email saying it was ready, but when I arrived they told me they could not fill it because it was too early (day 29 out of 30). After, I asked them to check because that did not sound correct-- they told me there was nothing they could do about it and the earliest they could release it was the following day at 8 AM -- when I would already be out of town. I then had the Walgreens on 5th transfer it up to their store and they had me re-filled and down the road in 90 minutes. I realize this is a 24 hour Walgreens so they have a larger volume of business but the fact that they would not listen to anything I had to say or check with my insurance company was very frustrating. I would not have cared if I could have come the back the following day, but as I was about to depart on a very hectic trip I felt very panicked. My frustration was validated when the other Walgreens made the refill as simple and easy as this Walgreens made it as frustrating, rigid and impersonal. Customer service is important-- even when your job is counting pills.

. . . I think the thing that I love the most and have always appreciated about this location, is that they will issue you either a cash refund with receipt, or they will give/provide you store credit upon request - with OR without a receipt. (There have been times when Ive lost or misplaced receipts, etc;) In the past 18 months or so, Ive found myself on at least three different/separate occasions needing either an exchange or a refund, and theyve never "hassled" or given me a hard time about it. I also particularly love their fragrance counter, and especially enjoy their "Nice" store brand food and beverages. . . . With 24 hour store convenience, its everything you could possibly want in a local pharmacy/drug store.

Complete waste of time with poor customer service. Photos were promised at 1130 on Monday. At 6pm they still were not ready. They said they would call me Tuesday when they were ready....no call. I called on weds. At 430 pm. and was put on hold twice for greater than 10 minutes with no answer.....go to wal mart. Its cheaper and faster.

Pharmacy pro tip: Check to see if the customer has something on hold. It saves time for everyone. You guys dont have to send anything to the doctor, and the customer doesnt have to tell you where you put their prescription.

Much better than the one near Bergfield park the manager there is a full blown idiot with no manners and is on some sort of ego trip. People at this store are kinder and provide reasonable customer service.
