I found the dress, or at least I had thought until I walked into Princess Bridal completely by accident. As soon as I walked in I had this overwhelming feeling that I needed to get out of there (The Princess Bridal). I am a firm believer in Gods plan for all of us and that everything happens for a reason. It was a Saturday afternoon, I had planned a jewelry party that day with a good friend of mine. However due to some scheduling, I had to cancel. I had promised my good friend that if we had to cancel I would take her to Old Town Spring. She had never been and loves antiques. The overwhelming feeling I had felt would not go away and after only being in there for 4-5 minutes I knew I had to leave. I called my mom and had explained this weird feeling, I knew we had to go back. My Maid of Honor, my mother and myself made it a point to take a look together that following Saturday. I knew I would find "the one", I just knew one way or another it was happening. I called that morning and to my surprise they had an appointment available for a time they dont offer online. This was a "call-in" surprise. (Im telling you, God has a funny way of making things happen) I walk in and I am all over that store like white on rice. Denise approached me the first time assuring me Amanda would be with me shortly. A few moments later not Amanda but Melissa is great and she will be with you very shortly. I explained to Denise that I was in no hurry. Finally, Tonya is MY girl, and it was completely meant to be. Tonya and I hit it off immediately. After the couple of places I had been too she was by far my favorite consultant. We got to talking and our men are two peas in a pod. The love we have for our men and how we both endured the same experience was ironic and hysterical. She found a dress for me that was not at all what I was looking for I tried it on the first time and loved it but was hesitant based on price. My mom is a strong woman who raised me, my only parent, my mother and my father all rolled into one. She works so hard and to my surprise has decided to cover the entire cost of our wedding. I am so blessed by this decision that I knew I could not let her go over budget with my dress. I wouldnt allow it. I had told myself I wasnt going to try on anything that was going to put pressure on My Mommy! I had on one of two that we were deciding between, of course my mom is crying, we then all cry. I switched to "the one" for a second look. We added the veil and I lost it, HA! Tonya and Denise made magic happen. My hearty is so full of love for these women and this gorgeous shop of theirs. I said YES to the dress and I could not be happier with my decision. Thank you for this experience, it truly was an amazing one.

I feel I need to address some of the reviews I read that gave this place 1 star...actually anything other than 5 stars. I am not sure why these brides felt the way they did. My only guess on the reviews that stated they did not feel special or feel like they were given undivided attention is that the bride did not make an appointment before entering the store. On my experience to the store it was a most memorable experience I have ever had. I first saw this store online in my search to find a place to buy a wedding dress. My situation was WAY different than most because I had hardly any time to find a dress. I went to the Bridal Extravaganza on Sunday the 11th of January 2015 made an appointment for Davids Bridal on the 12th and for The Princess Bridal on the 13th. My wedding is February 14, 2015. My experience at Davids Bridal was of disgust. The style coordinators are not experienced AT ALL. I walked around and looked at their dresses, which most are not very appealing. When my appointment time arrived the coordinator asked me what dresses I wanted to try on, so I gave him a list. He didnt have anything to say about any dress nor did he assist in any way other than getting the dress I asked for. I wouldnt recommend anyone to go to Davids Bridal if they wanted to feel special. My WONDERFUL experience at the Princess Bridal was completely opposite from Davids Bridal. I arrived early and was able to walk around and look at the dresses while Denise finished up with a bride ahead of me. The way the shop is set up is very exquisite, each bride has their own dressing room, mirrors, and platform to stand on sectioned off from the other brides trying on dresses. When Denise got to me she brought me in the dressing room I undressed and she went and started grabbing dresses. She dressed me and undressed me and knew what style of dress to grab that would look good on my body type. I am not a size 6 and I have like no waist. The third dress I tried on was beautiful...nothing I would have picked out for myself and it made me feel beautiful and sexy. Denise is a business woman so I think people must misunderstand her from the reviews I have read. She is very focused in what she does and her only goal is to make you feel beautiful and special. Lets face it, if she isnt doing that then she wouldnt be in business. I bought my dress on the 13th, she gave me a seamstress to do a few adjustments to the dress and some accessories for the dress. She told us exactly what to have the seamstress do to the dress. All I can say is THANK YOU DENISE!!! You are amazing.

After multiple bridal shops, I was looking forward to my appointment at the Princess Bridal, although I wasnt quite sure what I was looking forward to. My experiences at other locations were fairly underwhelming (atmosphere wise) - small fitting rooms, minimal dresses options that I was excited about, & there was that feeling of...do I really want to say yes to my dress here, BUT I also didnt have high expectations, as I had not looked any further into the store than the initial referral & scheduling my appointment. Dont get me wrong...I had some great consultants at prior locations, but from the moment I walked in the door of Princess Bridal, I was in love with the atmosphere. The drive from Katy was VERY WELL WORTH IT for the experience I had, even though I can now say I didnt ultimately find my dress at Princess Bridal. Brooke was my consultant. She was so friendly, calm, sweet, encouraging, & not pushy in the least. My aunt, mom and I were given the opportunity to look at dresses, while Brooke simultaneously searched for dresses that fit what I was looking for. She made me feel so comfortable. Im a pretty modest person & she put me at ease. She never questioned my decisions about any dress, patiently letting me think through each one. I felt positive even when I wasnt quite sure if I liked what I was wearing (although her dress picks were overall AMAZING)....just not right for me as "the dress." The dressing rooms were a good size, the decor was so beautifully done & Brooke stayed within my budget until I gave her permission to move slightly beyond it. The owner was also very sweet & willing to work with me to help me get the dress I thought might be the one. I absolutely CANNOT say enough good things about my experience. The only thing I WISH I could say is that I found my dress at the Princess Bridal, but I still have absolutely no hesitation in recommending other brides to have a wedding dress shopping experience at this beautiful store, in hopes youll find your dress! THANK YOU BROOKE and everyone at Princess Bridal for giving me this experience to remember forever. You are all a very special part of my bridal gown story!
