Pristine Bridal Care did a wonderful job! Five years ago, after the fun and frivolity of the wedding the dress was dry-cleaned twice, hung up in a closet in a breathable garment bag with liberal amounts of moth balls distributed. Job done, right? Figured this was the best I could do for it. A few months ago I pulled it out and was horrified to see yellow brown stains from split champagne, deodorant and one miscreant bug. I immediately took to the internet to see what could be done. Enter Pristine Bridal Care. I met with them in person to check out the place, show them the dress and discuss options. It seems as though dry cleaning is one of the worst things you can do for a silk dress, and they managed to erase the problems as best as possible, sending me before and after photos of the job. I received a fedex package with the dress nicely presented in a sealed box. Which I immediately, and accidentally, broke (tip for others - dont pull the dress box out of the Fedex/UPS one, just let it slide out onto a bed or couch). Enter Pristine Bridal Care again. We took the dress back to their shop and as part of the warranty they replaced and resealed the plastic around the box - none of your plastic film wrap here, this is gently heat treated plastic that shrinks around the display box ensuring bugs and dust can no longer find a home in the voluminous folds of ivory fabric. I wouldnt hesitate in recommending others use this company. I know it may be a little daunting sending your dress to a company via Fedex or UPS, which is one of the reasons why I went in person. So, to those who are unable to travel to the shop I can say the establishment is trustworthy and genuine. For those who are able to travel, Id recommend meeting the owners - they are lovely and it is so interesting hearing what they do! I was very happy to leave my dress there and was extremely satisfied with the results.

I couldnt be more thrilled with my experience at Pristine Bridal Care! The owners were an absolute joy to work with and I felt completely confident in their abilities. My wedding gown had been hanging in my closet in its bag since our outdoor wedding... 10 years ago. Eeek!!! The hem was badly soiled and sugar stains had started to appear after sitting uncleaned for so long. Its now as good as new and properly stored in its preservation box. No more walking past it in the closet everyday thinking to myself, "Seriously, you HAVE GOT to get this thing cleaned already!!!" :D Ive already referred Pristine to friends and plan to have them work their magic on my mothers and mother-in-laws gowns :)

The owners are so nice. They worked around my schedule. It was more convenient for me to drop off and pick up the dress (I just felt more comfortable this way), and they were encouraging to do so. The dress looks pristine! Very clean, and nicely packaged. Quick turn around. I did not find any place with better pricing around the area I live. Just to sum up - great people, great service. It was truly a pleasure.
