Arriving to the MAC store I wanted to get my makeup done last minute for my sister 30th birthday party theme of 90s. I was worried due to limited on time since it was after 2pm and the party started a 6pm. I was greeted upon going into the store, even though they were busy I got their attention I asked if they had time to do my makeup, at first she said no , but lets check... After a few minutes, the makeup I wanted was pretty easy, she informed me that she had someone who can help me. I was surprised to find service so quickly and I know its not always the case, but their customer service is off to a great start. Her name is Celine (hope I spelled it correctly ) she was super friendly and asked questions. I wanted to take it back with my 90s look I grew up with which was a chola. She was differently down to do so. Celine worked her magic on my chola look, that it actually brought back memories of my crazy cousins from East LA lol. Even though doing chola makeup is easy she made me look hood. I could not believe what a kick ass job she did! For the whole night of the party my makeup was the talk of the night! Especially the tear drop she added. I would recommend all the ladies that work at this location their awesome customer service and beyond great help . Thank you Celine and ladies for all your help and creating the final touches to my costume.

Two(ish) stars for the guy working on a Saturday that kept telling me his brand spanking new and pristine brush was at all similar to a brush I bought in 2007! TEN YEARS AGO! He insisted on rudely over explaining how he cleans his brush, even after I explained how I clean my brushes — and shocker, he did not say anything that I don’t already do. “If you just take care of them… “ Yes, I know, MAC brushes are wonderful but after 10 years I think it was fair for me to let that one go. (I was asking about using it as an item in my Back2Mac horde of 12-14 items) I should have just said I fell in love with the Sigma F80 and these new, hip oval brushes. (which is true.) FIVE WONDERFUL STARS for the woman who helped me on a weeknight Back2Mac trip. I so wish I would have gotten her name. I think it’s the manager’s name on the receipt - Karissa or Marissa maybe. If that’s the manager’s name, that is not who I am talking about. The gal who assisted me was lovely, non-pushy, super sweet, knowledgable, and let me play with upcoming palettes. I ended up buying Power Hungry but from a different MAC and I will definitely have to go back and purchase one from her as well. She is the ONLY reason I will be back to this location.

I went to this location in hopes of buying a product. When I walked in the store it took a few minutes for someone to ask if I needed any help. Mind you there were only two other customers in the store and one of the employees was available. Finally, she asked if I needed any help as she saw me looking around, no smile her attitude wasnt the best, definitely not friendly. Usually whenever Mac employees see you looking around and look really interested in a product they ask if you would like to try it on, they help you, just like Ive been helped at many of their other locations. In this case it was the total opposite. Poor service, it seemed forced and not helpful at all.

I hardly ever do reviews, but I had to with this one. Yesterday I went to the Mac counter, and a nice lady named Misty, helped me right away even though she was working on a client, to get me a lipstick I needed. Well then I decided I wanted to get match for a foundation, but I had to wait a little because everyone was busy. But Misty went out of her way to find someone to match me. I really appreciated the fact that she didnt want to lose on a client because of busy they are, and now I can see why they are busy. Excellent customer service.

Poor customer service. Told the sales person I wanted to buy a lipstick and mid process she left me to help 3 other incoming customers to the point that I got tired of waiting and left. Did she think I wasnt good enough for her service? I felt so uncomfortable and like I didnt belong. Suffice it to say, I wont be visiting that store again, which makes me sad. I was so excited to see it at the mall. :(
