Went in looking for a white wooden crate to use for book storage. Cheaper and less time consuming than buying a bookshelf. Online said this store had six in stock. Went into the store and they didnt have any on the shelf and none in the immediate area. I knew from other stores that they had a bunch of the plain (non-white washed) crates used for their own displays. So I wandered around the store a few minutes and sure enough, I found the white crates being used to hold up bins of twine. Now, I understand that they need to create displays throughout their store but they should not be able to use store inventory for that, especially when they only had 6 of the crates inventoried for sale. Called back to speek with a manager. Manager just happened to be the one to answer the phone. I work in retail and the odds of a manager answering the phone everytime you call a store are slim. Maybe Joanns is set up differently. Anyway, I spoke with the manager and she said that what it said online was only updated once a week on Sundays. This I have come to notice is a lie. Their inventory is updated daily online because after my purchase yesterday, their online inventory now says 5. Maybe it wasnt a lie necessarily but misinformation but they need to be better informed of their policies and how their stores are run. Also, incredibly long lines during the middle of the day. Need more than one checker for a line of 8 people.

If you value your sanity, DO NOT enter this store. The fabric cutters take their time, which Im okay with, I dont want a crooked cut, but its when they roll their eyes, mismark prices, and talk about people that gets under my skin. THEN you have the front cashiers, who most of them (seriously, except for one) act very unprofessional. "Uh, you cant use this coupon." Uh, yes I could. THEN you have to deal with mismarked signs all over the place. Seriously, if you go into this store, plan to spend time at the price checker. I saw a sign for 60% off merchandise on an end cap and NOTHING was even on sale. Talking to the manager was a huge waste of time. First, she tells you youre wrong. Then shell talk over you. Then, when she rolls her eyes and walks a whole ten feet to see what youre referring to, "Well, thats not supposed to be there," she doesnt even take down the sign. I called the next morning to talk to a different manager and she copped an attitude again! You would think after all this, somebody would take down the sign. Desperately looking for a specific embellishment, I went in two weeks later and the sign was still there. Nothing was on sale.

I love this place. I go here a lot with my friends because they have a larger selection of fabric. I usually would give a 5 star, but my experience last night was appalling. I had to return some fabric and was told by the front cashier to bring it to the cutting table for measurement and UPC. I got the needed bolt of fabric, brought it to the table, and the older woman was instantly mega rude to myself and my friends. She seemed to get flustered when we mentioned that it was a return. She went to a manager *Im assuming*, and told her of the issue. She did not, at all, lower her voice when she said that I was asking for full price on the unit. She measured it for me, I took the ticket back to the cashier to have it taken care of and walked back to my friends. Well, we were looking at other stuff, too, and she looked over at us and said, "Are you girls ready or what?" I looked over at my friends and gaped. This woman was hella rude. I will rethink ever coming back to this location to purchase fabric...

Val at the cutting counter made my day. She is very knowledgeable, answered my questions and did all this while precisely cutting my fabric (straight cuts and down to the inch). Great store, reminds me of Cloth World back in the 70s. So many fabrics, trims and notions. Dont forget to stop by the remnants for deals! Every time I am in I find a online coupon or two. Last time between my coupons and their sale prices, I saved over $24! Be sure to check out the storage, jewelry and decor. Better prices on those than Michaels.

I wen today searching for a hook to button shirts, walked all over the store looking for someone to tell me where to find it. After 20 minutes I started asking and the answer was that they were busy. No one could answer because if I asked they would turn around and tell me that If I could wait because they were busy. I only needed for someone to pointed out. Anyhow. I got irritated and left. Theworst customer service ever. Thank you

Love the products in the store but the employees ALL act like they HATE HATE HATE being there. They are not helpful, friendly or even courteous. The worst part of this place is the long lines at the check out. No matter how many people are in line they refuse to call for register back up assistance and they move slow as can be. Management in corporate needs to take a serious look at this place, in my opinion.

Great choices, large, clean store. Nice fabric, nice ladies, not a lot of turnaround. Shop there often for my business and never once had an issue. In regards to coupons, I use several every time I go, never had an issue & maybe other customers who had problems got up on the wrong side of the bed!

Busy location! The staff was friendly, they had 3 staff members on checkout lines, so it was a fast process. They have a great selection, I just wish the shoppers were more courteous-- several times I was expected to go around others or have people run into me-- without so much as an excuse me!

If I could have rated it a "0" I would have! These were the rudest employees I have ever encountered! Not very helpful & acted like we were doing them a favor by being in the store! I will never go back to that store nor will I ever recommend it to anyone.

Not very satisfied at all with the staff at this store. 4 separate vidios and no one was inviting our smiled. Specifically turned off by the staff who cut and measure fabrics. Each visit with different employee... no smiles and unfriendly attitudes.

Super helpful staff...went in looking for fiberglass project materials not no anything other than "a stretchy cotton based fabric that wasnt too stretchy". After describing my needs the lead me to the perfect fabric.

This is one of my favorite stores. I particularly like the hobby ply wood, general crafting supplies, and the Halloween stuff. I may even buy a sewing machine and take up sewing just for kicks.

Not enough variety and prices are high and I could not find the color of thread which I was looking for. Waste of my time. Also could not find lining fabric which I was looking for.

I love going to Jo-Anns fabrics and looking for a new style. Most of the cashiers and employees are nice and friendly. They are open most of the day for our convenience.
