Im currently looking for a new car and have found all the google reviews of dealerships very helpful -- so I wanted to contribute. Four years ago I bought a Dodge Caravan from Chip at Auto Group of Plano and it was a fantastic family car (unfortunately it was totaled last week so were in the market again). What they do is go to auctions and find the kind of car you want -- its a little different. Large car dealerships also go to these auctions to try to get a good deal and flip it. Since CarFax reports can take months to get updated, they inspect the paint and body of the car to make sure it hasnt been wrecked recently, and their mechanic inspects it. Its a no-pressure experience and you get pricing upfront (which is definitely better than dealerships). Several friends have used the service and also had a great experience. Its hard to find good people in this business. After looking around for our next minivan, I think Im just going to use this service again.
