Just moved in town and looking to furnish my new place 100%,, so I decided to shop around and also online, I saw a sectional sofa online from Ashley furnitures and we decided to visit the store,, I visited the store twice, the sales guy was pushy and wanted it all his way, everytime, I asked to see one of the 3 sofas I had seen online he had to drag me to his work station and try to show me from his computer as if that will be diff from my smart phone. I really need a couch so I decided to hang on...i asked about their financing and instead of taking the time to explain this is a regular credit card and not like best buy store card he had me put in my info ,, as he tells me this is how he does his job.... I did it then there was another store credit card he insisted that I apply, I got overwhelmed and had to stop for a minute coz every question I asked he responded "this is how I do my job,",,, and thats right very incompetent, tasteless, pushy and vicious..... ok I stayed was waiting for my husband to meet me at the store to make the decision together but the sales guy had something to say about that ,,, kept telling me I had to make up a decision now coz he has to go to his sons game and has to close the deal before he lives.We all have jobs and kids and not once I had to tell my boss or a customer hurry I need to go watch my sons game, the kids are important but u r at work so its non of my business,,,, I had to see more furnitures for my bedroom and my sons room, ,,, jeez he wouldnt gv me space to breath, I mentioned that I needed to look around for more furniture and he picked what he thought I should get for my family,,,ridiculous, ,, anyway at this point i had made up my mind, that I wasnt buying from him, so I left with an excuse of coming back later with my husband,,, this vicious sales strategy is tasteless and unnecessary, I was coming to buy but i will take my business somewhere else,,, let the customer shop, if I want to stare at the furniture Im willing to purchase for an hour I should be able to do that without being bothered.... also finance should be explained not rushed into getting it....

I went to Ashley based on a friends recommendation. A salesman quoted me the price for some furniture. I was told that the price would be the same the next day. When I returned the next day, they tried to change the price on me. I should have just left then, but based on the friends advice, I went ahead. When they called to schedule delivery, I asked for a weekend time. The person actually said, "Well, cant you find time during the week?" I ignored the comment and scheduled delivery. The furniture arrived on time, but had been damaged. I sent it back. This evidently made the delivery drivers late for subsequent deliveries, because the office called me to "check up on the delivery team. They said that they were delayed making your delivery." I guess that the office doesnt believe when the team reports a problem. Next I found out that one of the pieces that they left had been assembled it incorrectly. I went to the store to ask about it and they said, "Oh, just schedule time to have someone repair it." Dont these people have jobs? I asked them to give me the tool to make the change myself and they told me where Home Depot was. I liked the furniture, so Ill wait for the corrected delivery, but this will be my only business EVER with Ashley.

Wife and I initially looked at this couch at different location, then shopped around. We shortlisted the 4-piece sectional from Ashley. Wife and kids went to the Plano store to look at it again to help make a decision. They were greeted and assisted by Mr. Hardy (Reggie). Reggie guided them to the sofa and answered all questions. He was soft spoken and very personable. He engaged not only my wife but the children too. It is not often my wife tells me of a pleasant shopping but she did talk very highly about this one. Reggie contacted my wife about a new sale and she spoke with me. I called the store and briefly spoke with Reggie. I decided to go look at the couch on my way home. I worked with Reggie and immediately saw what made my family spoke about. He has a great demeanor and is very good to work with. Reggie made the process so simple. I was able to look at the couch, work through finance, finish the sale, and leave the store in 1 hour. Simple. He is now known as Rockstar Reggie. The store was clean, bright, and easy to navigate. Applying for finance was by a small kiosk taking 2 minutes. The staff finishing the sale were pleasant and friendly. I will definitely be shopping with them again when I am in need of furnishings.

The actual sale was easy and quick. Cathy left us to browse, quietly waited for us, and quickly answered all of our questions. She was very excited when we told her there would be no financing, and that it would be a straight cash sale. HOWEVER, she straight lied to us about delivery. She told us that the system was showing delivery 8-10 weeks out, but that those dates werent correct, and that she would call and get correct dates for us that would only be 10-14 days out. Well, a week went by and we hadnt heard from her. We called, and she acted not only like we were bothering her, but that she didnt have time to fix our delivery dates like she said she would. She informed us that "she had no idea what we were talking about, and that she would NEVER tell a customer something like that". Really? Like we would lie to her? Had we known that we would be sitting in lawn chairs and sleeping on air mattresses for 2+ months, we NEVER would have bought $10k worth of furniture. EXTREMELY DISGUSTED with the lack of customer service/support after theyve already gotten their money. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM UNLESS YOU ARE PREPARED TO WAIT MONTHS FOR YOUR FURNITURE.

Ordered my furniture over a month ago and still waiting. Was told I would have in two weeks and they would call me but no one ever did. So I called them after 3 weeks to be told it was still not there but I could go ahead and pay my balance and they would call me when it got there. Two weeks later still no call; called again and apparently it has been sitting there but showed there was still a balance. Did anybody bother to call me? NO! I guess it would still be sitting there if I hadnt called. Now Im waiting for delivery which has to be set for a certain day but they cant tell me what time of the day until the day before. But if the time doesnt work for me I have to give them 48 hours notice to cancel. HELLO!!! So basically whatever day you set for delivery you just have to be there all day. And when I talked to a manager about all of this she just acted like it was no big deal I had been waiting for over a month! No apology or anything. I will never shop at this store again!!! The one in Arlington was great and I have bought from them many times over the years but this store does not know anything about customker service!
