This is a serviceable thrift store: large, well-organized, and reasonably priced. But there are better ones, and since it is half an hour from me I dont think Ill go back unless I am on my way back from Galveston or something. I did find a few things at good prices, but a lot of the merchandise is pretty worn and the overall quality of the the items is so-so. I like digging and I dont care about labels, really; but if I am going to dig Id like to find some gems. What I did get: a nice H&M dress for $7 and a Chaps button-up for my toddler nephew for $2. The best deal I saw was a like-new mens linen Tommy Bahama shirt for $1. But just down the rack there was a Ralph Lauren button-up for $24, which was weird. Most things are between $2-10. I would recommend Family Thrift on Long Point, Wayside or 59. They are equally large and well-organized, comparably priced, and offer a better range of merchandise. Almost everything is in good wearable condition and you can find a lot of good labels like Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, Chaps and Gap. I usually find at least one VERY good item: BCBG, Ralph Lauren, Nanette Lepore, Adrianna Papell, and even Burberry. The kids selection is better. The housewares are about the same....but cheaper.

Have been shopping here since I was a kid with my mom, about 25 years now. My wife and I just moved back to Houston and completely started over and Alamo Thrift Shop has basically helped us refurnish our entire home, and so affordably to boot. Thanks for decades of great service and awesome finds. Thanks Alamo for everyrhing, We reccomend yall to EVERYONE!!!

There is always something new and different to find here. I especially love their belts and childrens clothing. Not a fan of the "random loose items in bags" method of displaying small toys and craft supplies. Its unattractive and hard to see what youre getting, so I usually give up quickly.

Alamo is OK for a thrift store, but their prices are not that great unless you get them "on sale", meaning that they give discounts certain days for certain products. The layout of the store is a little awkward but its sorted well enough. I prefer other thrift stores myself...

Large selection of clothes and household items except for furniture. They really do have at least a little bit of everything. The prices are high unless theyre running a daily special though.

This place has a massive selection. I love going here for clothes because they are sorted by size. No more digging through the entire rack looking for something that might fit.

I didnt like that the male manager charged an extra Ladies top. And the toy my sister purchased. He didnt give us the discount for the letter B.. He marked it as a G.

Typically good. Find treasures most of the time. Store is big. Staff is friendly and helpful. Prices are decent. Definitely on my routine thrift store shopping trip.
