We Purchased approx. $ 3500.00 of new furniture from the Ashleys outlet in New Braunfels, tx. All totaled over the past 12 yrs. I have bought about 15,000.00 , but that doesnt matter to them , they still treat you like they are doing you a favor by allowing you to buy from them....Their previously scheduled & confirmed delivery was a day late, (even tho I called several times to follow-up and even went by their store). When they did show up late on Sat. nite, the delivery people damaged our furniture and did not tell us. We found out about it after they had left. I repeatedly called their hdq. , provided them with full & complete documentation, and they still denied my claim. They said they were not responsible! They were very condescending & uncaring... It cost me $650.00 and a lot of my time to get my furniture repaired. FYI...Their upper mgt. people direct their lower level mgrs. and customer service employees to not let customers who have complaints , thru to speak to them! How credible is that! Everyone who was involved from Ashley furniture during this whole process passed the buck by saying that they couldnt do anything for me, I must have called at least 15 times to various people in their customer service hdq.. Just a big run-a-round and total waste of time dealing with these people! I will never buy from them ever again!

After scheduling my delivery, they were a no-show. This was a day I had to take off of work, UNPAID, and I called and spoke with a manager. He apologized. Apparently even though it was confirmed, the item was never in and they needed to reschedule. I scheduled it for the first available day, today (Aug 30). It was to be between 12-3pm. I specifically changed plans Labor Day due to this. I spoke with John, then Lorena, then Todd from the San Antonio store, etc....every person had a different NEW time for today. I was here since 11am waiting. It is now close to 6pm. I just got a call saying, "Sorry, it will now be delivered between 12-3 TOMORROW." Unacceptable. For the $1800 I paid for this furniture, they can take it all back. So, it has now been 2 days of wasted time for nothing. This is not run professionally, and any time I spoke with someone at the delivery store in NB, no one would allow me to speak with a supervisor. Still not sure how it went from a 1 1/2 hour delay to 8pm tonight (5 hour delay), to a 24 hour delay. PLEASE save the headache and go to Rooms to Go or some other furniture store. It is not worth your energy or time.

We purchased an electric dual home theater recliner/glider in June 2013. They delivered the furniture within 3 days at no charge. In February of 2014 the electric control box that holds the emergency batteries was dropped while changing the location of the furniture in the theater room and broken (my fault). I called for service and was informed that they would need to replace the part and was scheduled 2 days out. The repairman arrived as scheduled and replaced the part at no cost to me. He even offered to repair the armrest between the chairs which I had modified but declined his offer. Two years after the purchase the leather still looks almost new and the chairs are IMO more comfortable than when new. Im very pleased with this purchase and intend to purchase a matching single electric recliner today. I had not intended to write a review but noticed the many poor reviews and wanted to put my 2 cents in since my experience has been entirely different. Hopefully I can review the new recliner with the same results.

Please use our experience as proof to NEVER purchase from this company. We ordered a mattress from JESSE CAMPOS and was told they would take away the old one upon delivery, and charged us $69.00. The driver showed up THREE HOURS LATE and refused to take the old mattress. He stated that "the salesmen will say anything to make a sale". I called the "customer care" phone number and was told that it is not guaranteed they will remove an old mattress. When asked why we were told that, their reply was "I dont know". We went back to the store in New Braunfels and have been told it could be SEVERAL DAYS to refund out money because they dont do that there. The "salesman" was there and avoided even making eye contact with us - his deceit being brought directly to account he in no way wanted to own up to it. They happily took our money under false pretense and when I said we would post a full review the manager Anthony said "whatever". Based on their 2.1 rating, it seems that is his response to most issues.

Horrible service!!! I ordered a sofa and tv stand back in May, was scheduled for June delivery, in June I only received the tv stand and day before delivery was informed that the sofa wasnt ready, they then scheduled it for July 14 and then rescheduled for July 17 and Friday they were supposed to call with a window for the 17th in which I never received so I called them right now and they tell me they only have 1/2 the sofa and that cant be delivered til earliest the 19th and then the other part will be ready at the end of the month... mind you Im 9 1/2 months pregnant with a one yr old and my husband is deployed! Id never recommend them again to anyone!!! And the customer service is disgusting!!! And each time they schedule a delivery date my sons take the day off work to lose pay for a delivery that gets cancelled last minute!!! To them its ok for us to lose money but they still receive full pymt for the product. Just beyond angry with this

I will never buy anything from this store again. They screwed up my order FOUR times. First, they damaged my furniture and pushed out the delivery for a week. Second, they forgot my bunky board and the guys response was "oh sorry, I guess I was just in a hurry to get out of here like I am everyday." Thats really great to know. Third, they said they were going to deliver the bunky board in three days (unacceptable anyway since its their mistake). After I didnt receive a confirmation call, I called customer service when they told me they made a mistake and it wouldnt be delivered until a few days after that. After I asked to speak to a manager, Ive been on hold for 45 minutes. If these idiots think Im PAYING THEM to continually screw up a very simple order. Save yourself time, energy, and money and give your business to someone who will appreciate it/is a little more competent.

Do Not buy from ashley furniture and here is why. My husband and myself made arrangements to pick up furniture at the Ashley distribition center in New Brainfels and this is what we got. I then called Emailed and texted Ashleys customer care department and they took 5 days to respond, then theu wanted to charge me 150.00 for a delivery. Then i spoke with ashley and they offered me half off of delivery. And that made me so mad, you going to charge me for a defective product yoU sold to me. HE-- TO THE NO YOU ARE NOT GETTING ANY MORE OF MY MONEY ASHLEY FURNITURE ITS ABOUT PRINCIPLE AND INTEGRITY AND DOING WHATS RIGHT, I dont believe your company has this, so I will no longer buy from you, and i hope that family and friends learn from what we had to go through. Do NOt BUY FROM ASHLEYS furniture.
