Poor ass customer services!! I purchased some pre-workout supplements Saturday around 5pm in Arlington and when I drive back home 45 miles it was hard as hell. Drive back today to the one in Mesquite which is closer anyways to exchange it and they told me it was supplied to broken down. I tried to break it down this morning with some damn utensils in the kitchen and still wouldnt. They had two other ones that I knew immediately were hard top cause when you shook them you couldnt feel no powder shake around. They wouldnt refund them. So I made them open one up in front of me so they wont give me that poor ass excuse of because I opened it I cant refund it. Luckily 1 out of 4 that were bad on the shelf were good and it was the flavor that I originally purchased. Tried to tell me I need to get something else. I will never shop here again not refer anyone to this location. First time here last time too! That cashier had no sense of urgency for customers.

Horrible experience last night after I found interest in a Pistol at the gun counter. Since this was an expensive purchase, I had figured they might price match as one of their competitors in Fort Worth sell these Cheaper Than Dirt. After confirming with the employee behind the gun counter they price match, and after he confirmed it with the GM. I found their competitor was selling the pistol $25 cheaper... After I presented this, the whole game completely changed. Got the run around about policy, sent back and forth between the gun counter and customer service. Customer service even approves the price match. Was met with complete rudeness from the employees at the gun counter, and left dumbfounded by a clueless GM. Ill buy small things here occasionally, but never anything of real value.

Associate in the hunting section decided to argue with me when I called asking for availability for a certain firearm, to my happiness they had what I was looking for. On the other hand, the associate argued with me and gave me a bad impression of the store so I took my business else where and paid a bit more for the better experience. Train your associates better on what its like being in a customer service type field or get rid of them you lost business. You dont argue with your customer over something theyve said, when they didnt.

I ordered some shoes on their website , the package was supposed to be delivered 2-3 business days. The package never made it. After nine days have past they call me saying fedex is refusing to deliver my package. I asked to speak with a manager he didnt feel the need to get on the phone. The representative gave me another manager name Daniel who told me to go pick it up myself from fedex after I had already paid for shipping or They can give me my money back.

This is by far the worst Academy there is in the Dallas Area! First of all I would like to start out by saying that everything in this store is all messed up especially the shoes and clothes department. The people who works in cashier are extremely slow at what they do and they enjoy talking to each other, and the management are by the most awful I have ever seen. If yall want to visit a good store I prefer yall to go visit the one at Forest Lane or Garland.

Went to go and pick up some shoes. Had one person that was really helpful. But when I went to another area in store for something else I couldnt get any help at all. Actually had several workers walk right by me without out even responding to my polite "excuse me." Ended up just purchasing the shoes. Other things i"ll get elsewhere. So in summary, for shoes ill go to academy. But only for the shoes.

I dont give many bad reviews, but when you give a business multiple times to earn your $$ and they fail every time... Three separate times over the course of a year I have tried to buy shoes here and every single display they have on the wall is sold out every single time. If the item is sold out, take down the display people. Lol. Dont waste your time going here. It isnt worth it.

Manager of the hunting and fishing department is a rude, argumentative idiot. He doesnt know anything about the products they sell, and tried to correct me about a product that I called to ask about. After visiting the manufacturers website, I confirmed that he was incorrect. So, not only was he rude by correcting me, he was also wrong! What a moron. Academy sucks.

This store is great and always has good deals. No complaints, especially for a store in Mesquite. I got life jackets, fishing poles for 3 children, water shoes for 3 children, golf balls, a kids putter, a little kids fake golf set, and fishing line and extras for the hubby....and it wasnt even $150 after tax. Cant beat it.

This place is horrible and the staff are very rude especially the guy in the back named Andrew in the gun section.we asked to speak with the manager named Jackie about Andrew she was rude to us also Im never going back there I will definitely drive to another store to get better customer service

Had the worst experience, no costumer service at the shoe department, there was about 4 sale Associates and all they did was play around with each other and stand around why the shoe department was a mess and no one even approached me for any customer service or asked if I needed help.

I went to purchase a firearm. When the associate started to help me he looked at me, stopped in the middle of helping me and helped another person when the other person rudely interrupted us. I never got helped after that after waiting for several minutes.

Plenty of parking, good selection of ammo, this store has an archery technician, im not sure how good he is (probably a "watch this video and now your trained" tech, like all most big box stores) i hold archery techs to a certain standard since i am one

Large Academy that stays busy. Its in a decent location and close to other stores. The only issue I have here is that sometimes the stock can get low in the gun area because it is so busy. Ive been a few times and selection has been picked over.

I purchased a portable basketball goal that ended up breaking before I even had it for a month. I was still able to return it without the box and they looked up the receipt for me because I had misplaced it. Great customer service!

Good prices and good selection of merchandise. This is my (local) fishing supply store when I need something that Walmart doesnt carry, and I dont want to wait on it to be delivered by mail. This place can be very busy sometimes...

Had to walk to the other side of the store to get some assistance. When we finally found and associate and asked a question, the only response was "I dont know". Seriously? Sometimes theres a long wait in the checkout line.
