Geez !!! I wish I had read these reviews. I am using my husbands account here but I have a girlfriend that lost her teenage daughter last year and was taking the day off Monday 3/23 to celebrate her birthday and visit her grave. I called McKinney Florist direct, a week ahead on 3/16, and spoke with Lisa to get a plant or something in an outdoor vase for the grave too, since her mom would put fresh cut flowers in the headstone vase. Lisa said that she could make me a tiny easel that would stake in to the ground with about 3-4 inches clearance. I said that would be wonderful !!! I asked what the FIRST delivery time she had because I knew my friend would go around lunch. Lisa said they open at 9:00am and would load the truck for first delivery at 10:00am. She said it might be a little earlier and she would have my delivery (in McKinney a few miles from them) be the VERY FIRST delivery of the morning. Well, my friend left at 1:00pm and returned at 3:30pm to find a beautiful arrangement in a square GLASS vase !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I called the store that Monday (3/23) afternoon and the manager, Steve, wasnt there and neither was Lisa. I left a message to have Steve call me and now its 3/30 and I havent heard a word. I also emailed them Tuesday (3/24) early morning and havent heard back on that either !!!! Extremely hurt that I couldnt send a nice thoughtful gift to my friend three states away that needs support in celebrating and grieving her young daughter. Ridiculous !!! Michele Allen

I have never dealt with such an unorganized unprofessional group of people in my life. After paying over $170 for an arrangement that was never delivered to my Girlfriend, was then given the excuse that the driver that wasnt even a real driver who had a child in the car and had the flowers crushed in the back of her car in a box because it was 7pm at night and my girlfriend was obviously not at work anymore. They were absolutely hideous! AND SMASHED! Needless to say my girlfriend didnt get her flowers because they were that awful. They went in the trash. And to top it off...they didnt even spell her name correctly. Buying a $15 dozen roses from walmart would have made this Valentines a success. I fully intend to spread the work all over with social media and all other media outlets. I will post again once I get off the phone with them shortly..... Follow up***** After speaking with the manager Tommy, he did immediately state that there was a mistake made on their end and they dropped the ball and that he would be processing my refund for the arrangement today. Once that is completed I will at least be satisfied they took responsibility for the damage that was done.

Let me tell you something about this floral shop. They rip you off, they send their driver out each morning to buy flowers from grociery stores. based on what is on sale at the stores, well thats what is put in your arrangment. They spend 10 dollars on a arrangment that you will pay 100 for... Not only that but this company is run by a man named steve solesbee. which if you dont know who that is, he is a man who has cheated and scammed hundreds of people. He puts an add on craigslist every month or so looking to hire a florist. scams her saying he will pay her high wages to work for him. after the second pay check. He refuses to pay you. How do i know all this? Because i worked for him. I am a young girl with two daughters who was looking for a decent job. He not only ripped me off and put me in debt. He did the same thing to my husband, as my husband worked as his delivery driver. I am not the only one he has done this to. He has taken advantage of so many people. Please help and stop enabling this man to cheat innocent people.

This local florist is the way to go! I cant get the personal attention anywhere else, especially with a nationwide florist. Being a typical guy and always on the go, the convenience of the national florist cost me in the long run without realizing it. For example, I was sending flowers having no idea each flower type and colour had a particular meaning. My perception was that if they look pretty and smell good then its "all good". Wrong. Sounds like the typical guy right? Well, over the years, I began to explore the sentimental things in life and realised that getting the right flowers is just as important as choosing the right card or giving the appropriate anniversary gift. The woman who runs this shop gave me some one-on-one advice. Now, every time I send an arrangement, there is an attached appropriate message that goes unspoken. No more sending flowers of sympathy to my boss on Bosss Day and no more sending romantic flowers to a friends wife. The kind florists of this shop saved my throat.

The people at this business are losers. I called to place a $100 phone order and spoke to Tommy who didnt listen and I had to repeat simple information 4 times before I finally told him to start listening. Liz was helpful regarding what they have in stock - which was almost nothing. They promised delivery by noon and when I called at 1:30pm to follow up, another employee gave partial information then hung up on me before I finished asking when delivery would be complete. I called again and spoke to Steve, the owner, who didnt want to hear my comments regarding the unprofessionalism of their service. He said that I was too demanding with his employees and that they were going to issue me a refund and not deliver any flowers for me. I would NOT recommend this company under any circumstances.

Theyll find a way to screw up even the simplest order. I gave simple delivery instructions. I had an issue if the delivery was going to occur between 12:00 and 2:00 pm, and the person taking my order said they would just deliver after 2:00 pm. It sounded great. At 1:00 pm, I got a call saying they were having problems trying to deliver it. I tried to speak to a manager about why the simple delivery instructions werent followed, and she said, "What do you want me to do about it?" before eventually hanging up me. So much for getting my wife a nice anniversary surprise. Dont trust them with anything you think is important. I would hate to see how they could screw up something big like a wedding.

Left me with no wedding flowers, a waste of time. She was nice when I met her, I made an order and she said she had to ask one of her associates about a certain flower. I waited a month and she never called, then I called her and she said "Oh! I was going to call you this afternoon! Ill call you later, too busy now to talk." So I waited...and waited...and then called her back and asked her to send the estimate to my email so I would know how much to pay her...never got it. So now I am stuck trying to find a new florist for my wedding.

I would not recommend this flower shop. They told me in complete confidence they could make sure they deliver flowers on Friday before Valentines Day. Flowers were suppose to be there around 12. Fiancé got off at 4 ans got zero flowers. Hey kept a giving me A bunch of stories . The only reason I didnt give one star is bc they refunded me my money along with giving me store credit. Im Sorry but the place was very unorganized. This was the valentines me and my fiancé got married. So it was a big deal.
