UPDATE 06/2017 - The owner reached out to me. We discussed the situation and I accepted her offer of re-potting my Orchid. I dropped it off on Thursday morning and picked it up Monday afternoon. I had to call to see if it was done. When I arrived, the staff was friendly. I was pleased with the service I received this time. Thanks, Country Greenery! ORIGINAL REVIEW - Go Elsewhere! Several years ago, I purchased an Orchid from Country Greenery. I had been a happy customer prior and was a loyal customer up until today. I had absolutely terrible service this morning. So terrible, I wont be returning. The manager’s behavior left me aghast and near tears. I can’t remember ever being treated so poorly in a professional environment. I telephoned over the weekend to see if they were able to properly re-pot the Orchid. I was assured, by a very cordial young man, that they would absolutely be able to re-pot the Orchid, and that I should bring it by Monday morning. Monday morning came, and I took my Orchid there before work, planning to pick it up when it was ready. The woman who greeted me did so with a cold, curt “Can I help you?” - no smile at all. I started to explain that I was there to get my Orchid re-potted and she cut me off, saying “We don’t do that.” I told her that I had spoken with an employee that had said they did, and she replied, in a very stand-offish manner, that I’d have to go next door to Ace and buy the Orchid soil before they’d re-pot it since they didn’t stock that soil. She then asked me why I thought my Orchid needed re-potting, still no smile or other indication she was glad I was there to spend money. I gestured to the overly-long air roots and, before I could hardly say anything, she interjected in a condescending tone, “Those are air roots.” (Well, duh. I know that. I also know that very long air roots can indicate the Orchid needs repotting, but okay.) I told her again that the employee I’d spoken with over the weekend assured me they could re-pot it with no problem and she brusquely replied that he was wrong and must have been new. I suggested that she properly train her employees then and save people from the inconvenience of making a special trip to her place of business and left. At no point did she smile, make me feel welcome, or apologize for the confusion or inconvenience of making a trip for nothing - especially when I’d called beforehand. She was rude, dismissive, and acted as if I’d interrupted her with my foolhardy attempt to spend my money at Country Greenery. If this were my first encounter with her, I would give it another chance, but it’s not. This is the second time I’ve had inexcusably rude service from her. It is also the last. I will take my money and loyalty elsewhere, where people behave in a civil and welcoming manner.

I received flowers from my boyfriend they were gorgeous roses. However, they only lasted 2 days and were wilted and dead. I did contact the store manager and he did replace them with no issues. However, when I went to pick them up the lady at the Fargo store was rude toward me, and wasnt even going to wrap them up in a bag with the wind that was outside. However, those flowers only lasted an extra day and began wilting and dropped their petals within 3 days. Not sure what you are doing to the flowers, but flowers should last at least a week. This isnt the first time that this has happened with flowers that have been purchases from here. Unfortunately, I dont think my boyfriend will be purchasing from you in the future.

Working with Country Greenery for my wedding was absolutely wonderful. Being that I live in the Twin Cities and the wedding was in Northern Mn, we were worried that it might be difficult to adequately plan and prepare everything. After many phone calls, emails and only one visit to the store, our wedding day arrived and everything was simply STUNNING! We could not have asked for more. Alma and Cam were amazing at applying the many different visions I had and turning them into the perfect final result. I think one of the marks of a good business is their customer service. After ordering a floral arrangement through Country Greenery, I found out there had been a misunderstanding/miscommunication regarding the order. I could not have been more pleased or impressed with the professionalism and understanding shown me in regard to the issue I had. The staff and owner each treated me as someone who mattered to them. They were pleasant, kind and certainly fair in resolving the issue. I will most definitely use Country Greenery again when I need a florist in the Moorhead area.

Went in to order flowers. Recieved worst service I ever have. Trying to order some flowers for my kids he said options were dumb and they would not like that even though they were picking them out themselves. I will never be back and would not recommend to anyone. Flowers were nice in the past when I bought there but they have really gone down hill. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere that will give you what you want. This place is guaranteed to disappoint you.
